There was NO DEAL made with Turkey for the release and return of Pastor Andrew Brunson. I don’t make deals for hostages. There was, however, great appreciation on behalf of the United States, which will lead to good, perhaps great, relations between the United States & Turkey!

But, golly, this guy seems sure. Wonder why?

DH and I are already talking about our election night vigil. Neither of us expects to get much sleep. Luckily we're on the West Coast (3 hr time difference) so some of the hotly contested seats back east will have been announced by the time we head to bed.

Melania's recent vanity and pity party (oh excuse me, 'tour') turned my stomach. She made her golden bed let her lie in it, she gets no sympathy from me.

I got terrible flak when the orange one got in for posting that I didnt think they'd be able to keep the staff at the White House, and for calling Melania Melanoma - tasteless apparently.
