Favourite John Lewis Christmas Ad?

But which John Lewis Christmas ad over the tears has been your favourite?or do you think they’re all rubbish

Mine has got to be ‘The Long Wait’ (2011) followed by ‘The man on the Moon’ (2015).

Definitely the snowman one, but out of all the big Christmas adverts Sainsbury's mog advert wins hands down for me!

Is the long wait the one where the boy rushes past his presents to give his mum hers? That's my joint favourite with The Snowman.

Penguins. Followed by the dog on the trampoline. But nothing comes close to the penguins.

The penguin one, definitely. I also loved the Man In The Moon one too. And the WW1 Sainsbury's(?) one.

In fact, I respond to all of them in exactly the way the advertisers want me too, which is really annoying as I'm definitely cooler and edgier than that.

but msvestibule do you actually go to John lewis and buy stuff as a result of the ad? I like to walk through John lewis at christmas, I leave feeling all chirstmassy and go somewhere cheaper for my decorations/gifts.

Oh thanks OP, I’m ultra hormonal this evening and have just spent ages going through them all and weeping! The long wait, snowman one and trampoline dog are my favourites.

I liked the penguin one but think they're overall very over rated. I think there are far better Christmas adverts than JL

"She's always a woman" is my favourite, although I don't think it's actually a Xmas ad

The hare and the bear is my favourite John Lewis ad, makes me cry every time.
My favourite Christmas ad of all time is the Coca Cola lorry one. I look out for it every year, I know it is Christmas then.
