Don't don't lose hope f or humanity.
It's not humanity, per se, that's the problem here, but human nature to form tribes. Not in itself a bad thing, community spirit is the bright face of this. But that urge us being heavily manipulated due the polarisation of politics, particularly in the US. It is harder and harder to think on the issues and less on which side you are on.
Happily, these waves peak and subside again. Hopefully without too much damage done.
That's what I tell myself anyway, and most of the time I believe it.
