I feel guilty too, as this a rather vicarious experience that pales against the depth anxiety and, in some, plain fear, for huge numbers the US.
Absolutely this. I'm always aware that my disgust, annoyance and frustration is nothing compared to what it must be to be in the US and seeing this unfold.

I do think the UK has an interest though, not just because the US has been the main player in the post War alliance for so long and now that balance of power is changing but also because the Brexiteers seem hell bent on following suit with the Bannon way.
As I've been typing, I had a WaPo newsflash that Flake and Collins were content with the FBI report and would be voting to confirm. No surprise but it's a dark day for women and I can't imagine how Christine Ford feels. A week really is a long time in politics.
