Happy Friday everyone.

So glad it's finally weekend, this week has dragged so much.

Tonight we're going to have simple tea of hot dogs and then we're planning to strip the living room wall paper and give it a good tidy to start painting and decorating tomorrow.

I'm not feeling 100% today, feel like I'm coming down with something so we're going to play it by ear on whether or not we actually do start the decorating this weekend.

I'm hoping it's just lack of sleep and an early night will make me feel so much better for it x

We are going to a pop up adventure playground and then eating pizza!

Mummy2one2016 · 28/09/2018 16:16

Just spend the afternoon cleaning for visitors arriving. Got my click and collect order to pick up this evening and will probably end up stopping for some fast food as no food in the house and will have to get my toddler to bed when I get back so no time for cooking

m4rdybum · 28/09/2018 16:19

I'm making turkey meatballs!

Then I think I'm going to sort out my bills folder... #rocknroll

ILoveDaveGrohl · 28/09/2018 16:20

Cleaning the house and packing. Off travelling tomorrow Grin

MrsStrowman · 28/09/2018 16:20

Been away for work most of the week and DH has been in meetings all day today, so nice dinner, catch up on some TV/maybe a film tonight, we're out with friends for dinner tomorrow evening and going to finalise and pay for our new log burner in the morning this is very exciting for me, last winter our old house was not the snuggliest of places, we've insulated, replaced radiators and this is the final touch. Can't wait for it to be in and lit on a cold wintery evening 😊

Notreallyhappy · 28/09/2018 16:20

Hour at the pool / jacuzzi with the OH cheeky wine in the bar and pasta for dinner later with ds19 included....standard Friday.Smile

SodTheBloodyLotOfThem · 28/09/2018 16:21

I'm in hospital, I had my appendix taken out late last night, I'm sore as feck and can't face food so I'm sincerely hoping they let me stay in tonight and don't discharge me home to my two feral kids (4yrs, 18 months - to be fair the 4yo isn't feral).

happymummy12345 · 28/09/2018 16:22

Same as every other Friday. Have something to eat, wash dry and put away/ sort the kitchen out. Bath ds and put him to bed. Tidy his toys. Then sit and watch telly and have a few drinks on my own. Dh is at work as usual, won't be home until around midnight, possibly later. Typical night for me, sat in on my own while dh has to work.

youngestisapsycho · 28/09/2018 16:25

It’s our wedding anniversary... taking the DDs for a Thai dinner... yum!

ItsJustTheOneSwanActually · 28/09/2018 16:25

Making naan bread to go with leftover veg curry, then wine and a film in front of the fire with DH and the cats.

rock and roll (we don't even have kids lol)

ACatsNoHelpWithThat · 28/09/2018 16:27

Dinner of spaghetti with meatballs followed by tinned fruit cocktail with evaporated milk (was suddenly feeling in a retro mood). Then an evening of trashy telly - Celebrity Masterchef final, Bake Off Extra Slice then The Circle.

I've barely been out on a Friday or Saturday night for the past 25 years.

YeahCorvid · 28/09/2018 16:27

Killing Eve. Hell yeah

Idontbelieveinthemoon · 28/09/2018 16:28

The DCs have friends over at the minute so pizzas are en route then sports clubs tonight; we'll land home around 9.30pm, DH will crack open a bottle of merlot and I'll be asleep after the first three sips.

Flowers OP, hope you're not coming down with anything awful.

Happy Anniversary @youngestisapsycho

Whatthefunk · 28/09/2018 16:28

I've got a gaggle of mum friends, from the village, coming for a chat/piss up. It will be loud Grin

Karenoid · 28/09/2018 16:39

Burgers for tea. Then once DS6 is in bed it'll be a board game and wine with DH.

DoubleNegativePanda · 28/09/2018 16:41

I am house-sitting for a friend this weekend to take care of her dogs, and dd will be at her dad's. So my evening will include wine, some sort of food I haven't decided on yet, starting a crochet baby blanket for a pregnant friend, and a harry potter marathon with dogs on my feet. I cannot wait.

PawneeParksDept · 28/09/2018 16:41

A Discovery Of Witches And a new jigsaw 😂Grin

Oysterbabe · 28/09/2018 16:43

I'm going out to a wine bar with friends. My first night out in over a year. I have a 9 month old and a 2.9 year old. The fridge is full of expressed milk and as soon as husband gets home I'm going to wish him luck and skip out of the door. I need this so bad.

holycityzoo · 28/09/2018 16:45

There are six kids at my house tonight, my four plus two more. I'm planning to put my comfies on and have wine and crisps for dinner.
Will also be making hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows and chocolate chip cookies.
I want to watch a discovery of witches later.
