Happy Friday everyone.

So glad it's finally weekend, this week has dragged so much.

Tonight we're going to have simple tea of hot dogs and then we're planning to strip the living room wall paper and give it a good tidy to start painting and decorating tomorrow.

I'm not feeling 100% today, feel like I'm coming down with something so we're going to play it by ear on whether or not we actually do start the decorating this weekend.

I'm hoping it's just lack of sleep and an early night will make me feel so much better for it x

It's party toon in my house. I'm on my way home and OH is out for the evening. I have a bottle chilling in the fridge. I will bathe and put on pjs and lounge on the sofa watching some film (I really don't care what!) and eat some carb-laden easy to cook treat... and then go to bed early.

user232398291 · 28/09/2018 17:25

Ready meal curry. Watch Seinfeld reruns/80s music videos. Go to bed.

It's a full life Grin

LordOfTheFleas · 28/09/2018 17:25

I didn't even realise it was Friday Blush Doesn't make any difference really, DH is at work tomorrow and I will be toddler wrangling as usual.

I can barely remember Friday nights being a thing, that's quite sad.

PickAChew · 28/09/2018 17:27

Same as any other night only without packed lunch to prepare. There will probably be wine and I will probably throw the remote control back in a drawer in disgust, at some point.

petalflowercherrybomb · 28/09/2018 17:29

I've been ill all day but will pull myself together enough to make a chicken stir fry for DP and myself. Later I'm off leaflet posting for my local theatre groups latest production. Will wrap up warm!

CoffeebyIV · 28/09/2018 17:30

Food shop tonight then have pizza & garlic bread for tea. It’s been a long bad week so a few glasses of wine with For the People and then bed before early start with the puppy tomorrow. Also need to start writing thank you cards from our wedding.

Moonflower12 · 28/09/2018 17:30

Packing boxes! DP is at work. DD(5) is super tired and grumpy. So 🤞🏻she'll go to sleep early.
We are moving to a new bigger posher house in 2 weeks. Verrrry excited.

CoffeeShortbread · 28/09/2018 17:32

Sodthebloodylot, poor you. Get well soon.

Jacket potato with crayfish & salad for dinner. Don’t know re tv. Probably this week’s No Offence and Bake Off Extra Slice (ff through the boring bits),

Gingerbiscuit99 · 28/09/2018 17:32

Just on the way home from work. DH has been ‘working from home’ today so hopefully has sorted some dinner out as I’m STARVING!

Also his turn to do DS bedtime but I don’t think I’ll be far after as 6 months pregnant and feeling everyday of it today. DS birthday party tomorrow and family visiting so will get some peace and quiet whilst I can tonight!

Moonflower12 · 28/09/2018 17:32

Oh and taking up DPs new work trousers. The ambulance service give trousers to fit 7'6" giants!

kirinm · 28/09/2018 17:34

Think tonight will involve trying to placate and get to sleep my newborn who is so overtired from a week of barely sleeping in the day that she cries and is hysterical most of the day. We might fit in food. And possibly masterchef.

Dontfeellikeamillenial · 28/09/2018 17:34

Total relief that its Friday.

Wine, chill, bit of telly. The usual. There's a chance FIL will be here, so in that case I'll have to cook something, if he's not we'll just have leftovers.

Nightwatch999 · 28/09/2018 17:34

Hi OP, im on nights all weekend, Confused
Hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoy the last of the warm weather. October next week! The Countdown to Christmas begins!

MummaofH · 28/09/2018 17:34

Awww have a fabulous evening @Oysterbabe

LeonoraFlorence · 28/09/2018 17:36

DH and BIL taken girls swimming. SIL and I are here with littlest ones waiting on pizza coming for when they’re back. SIL made a delicious chocolate fudge cake for dessert too. We will put the fire and a film on after dinner and relax :) hope everyone enjoys their evening.

SecretWitch · 28/09/2018 17:37

@MoonFlower12, I had to do that for dd. She is only 5’2! Actually had to take them to tailor along with shirts as everything all out of proportion for her tin frame

Santaclarita · 28/09/2018 17:39

Quiet night in alone as my partner is out for the evening. Going to work on college work and work on my interview questions and answers for Monday.

FluffyMcCloud · 28/09/2018 17:39

Drinking prosecco, watching Undateables.

ByeGermsByeWorries · 28/09/2018 17:39

A McDonald's when DP comes home because smarties flurries are back Grin then cracking on with packing. We are moving in 6 days and this is the last weekend as my DP works during the week and we need to take the junk we don't want to take with us to the tip Confused

Suomynona · 28/09/2018 17:43

Just got home from hard days work at a house we're renovating. Literally one more weekend til we're finished. We would celebrate but too knackered and got to be back there tomorrow bright and early so tonight is traditional 5pm Friday negroni already underway, cook dinner with a bit of music in the kitchen, then Masterchef final with me probably dozing off after one glass of red and misding who wins. Blissful Friday evening right now. Love being in my 40's (just!). Enjoy everyone.

FreakForHummous · 28/09/2018 17:44

I usually do washing/ housework on a Friday night then collapse on the sofa in front of the telly, but tonight I'm off to my fave restaurant with my sexy young fwb Wink

Been separated from STBH for over a year and I am beginning to see the upsidesGrin

Have a lovely evening everyone!

TeaCupp · 28/09/2018 17:48

May get flamed, don't judge! Me and DH are ordering a takeaway and having a joint afterwards. Given to him by an old friend of ours after joking around about college days the other evening.

Just to confirm there are no children in the house and I've not smoked the stuff since I was 18!!!

MinaPaws · 28/09/2018 17:53

DH is going out to see DS1 perform in a school play. I want to go too but that would leave DS2 alone in the house. Fine normally but we've had an awful week with a close family member dying and now the cat has been rushed to emergency vet and is staying in overnight. DS2 and cat are inseparable, so I might just stay home and binge-watch TV comedies with DS.

doleritedinosaur · 28/09/2018 17:53

Waiting for DC to go to bed so I can watch Greys & tidy up properly.

Feeling absolutely shattered so will properly be asleep by 10pm.

DwangelaForever · 28/09/2018 17:54

Hubby is going to play football so I'm planning on catching up on tv with newborn cuddles then when he's home we will watch a box set, started watching the looming tower on amazing prime it seems good.

We're having chicken veg and potato's for dinner, possibly a takeaway tomorrow!
