Happy Friday everyone.

So glad it's finally weekend, this week has dragged so much.

Tonight we're going to have simple tea of hot dogs and then we're planning to strip the living room wall paper and give it a good tidy to start painting and decorating tomorrow.

I'm not feeling 100% today, feel like I'm coming down with something so we're going to play it by ear on whether or not we actually do start the decorating this weekend.

I'm hoping it's just lack of sleep and an early night will make me feel so much better for it x

Mother nature arrived with a bang this morning so I will be leaving work at 6pm, home, bath, PJs, cook for me and DS, DH out working and DD out with friends, then sofa and TV for me!

Happy Friday you lovely lot

weegiemum · 28/09/2018 16:46

Sausage and mash for tea here. Dd1 is off out with her new Uni mates, ds is having an early night as he's doing parkrun in the morning, dd2 is with her boyfriend but will be home by 8 or there will be consequences.

Dh should get home at a reasonable time tonight, maybe half seven. Then we will probably watch a film and drink wine. We're so rock'n'roll.

vampirethriller · 28/09/2018 16:47

Cake and Walking Dead with the dog on my knee. Too tired and too pregnant for anything more exciting. Although I am quite excited about the cake, because it's coffee and walnut.

Pascha · 28/09/2018 16:48

Family dinner then baths/bed for the children and bath/wine/telly for us. Friday is the one weeknight with no plans and that's the way I like it.

ShoesJerry · 28/09/2018 16:49

Just finished cleaning the house, and am about to settle down with this week's episode of This is Us while DH takes DS to his swimming lesson. Then homemade pizza for dinner before I'm off to book group leaving DH to deal with bedtime.

EssentialHummus · 28/09/2018 16:50

DH has been away with work all week. I’m putting DD (1 year) down for bed, waiting on an eBay picker-up and then using their money to buy the biggest, tastiest thing I can find on Deliveroo. Which I’ll eat while watching Gilmore Girls. Non-stop rock and roll here!

Bellabutterfly2016 · 28/09/2018 16:55

Cooking tea
Washing lunchboxes
Getting clothes sorted
Putting another washing load on
Then
Ironing
Putting stuff on eBay
Cleaning
Going to bed

Nothing exciting, dp coming in from day job but out working again tonight and I'm pregnant at home with a 3 year old

It's depressing to hear about everyone's nice plans - I wish it was me so bad

Hope everyone has a good time

BlueJava · 28/09/2018 16:57

I'm building an Ikea wardrobe for our bedroom - it arrived this afternoon! Yay! Genuinely happy about this.

SequinsOnEverything · 28/09/2018 16:58

Gin and sleep. This week has exhausted me!

Odoreida · 28/09/2018 17:01

Babysitter has arrived and we are going to the opera. Pub first.

CoodleMoodle · 28/09/2018 17:02

Put kids (4 year old and 3 month old) to bed, quick dinner with DH and then up to bed. I've got a couple of hours at work in the morning so don't want to be too late anyway.

scortja · 28/09/2018 17:04

Gong bath.

Magik1 · 28/09/2018 17:05

Meeting friends for dinner and seeing some soul band perform. Don’t know exact details as someone else organised it but should be a fun evening.

Chrisinthemorning · 28/09/2018 17:09

Wine in the bath
Steak, chips and veg watching This is Us and new The Good Place, early night.

SecretWitch · 28/09/2018 17:14

This has been a trying week. Snacky things for tea. Sofa and film. Bed by 10. DD has early game tomorrow.

MaryBoBary · 28/09/2018 17:16

Packing my son off to bed and ordering Chinese!!! I’m so excited, haven’t had a Chinese in months!

jaffacakemonster · 28/09/2018 17:18

Cheese and onion kettle chips, glass of red, last episode of bodyguard with DH and then SLEEP!!! Cannot wait. Hope you all have lovely evenings.

Ballbags · 28/09/2018 17:18

Bath then a Tanqueray Sevilla martini. Dinner is some cheese I got in a French market last weekend, rillettes and sourdough, then probably Deadpool 2.

LuckyAmy1986 · 28/09/2018 17:18

Is This Is Us worth watching? I keep going to but something stops me!

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 28/09/2018 17:19

About to bath my kids, then will tidy up. Can't wait for DH to get home, then we will both have a soak in the bath, order a takeaway, probably a Chinese, watch tv and then bed. Don't know whether to have a few drinks or to wait until tomorrow.

AnnabelTheAntelope · 28/09/2018 17:21

I found out earlier that they don’t need me at work this evening or tomorrow evening. So, I’m getting a surprise weekend at home. I should be disappointed but I’m actually thrilled!

I’m making moussaka for dh and me. After that, probably nothing terribly exciting. Maybe watch a film and have a Wine.

Thesearmsofmine · 28/09/2018 17:22

It’s our wedding anniversary today but we are broke and have no babysitters so we are just having a takeaway once the kids are in bed.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 28/09/2018 17:22

The ironing! So sad.

UpstartCrow · 28/09/2018 17:22

I'm recovering from surgery and have to take it easy (any excuse Grin). I have some sewing and knitting to do, and a stack of DVDs to watch, yay!

Chrisinthemorning · 28/09/2018 17:22

@LuckyAmy
Yes we have enjoyed it. US family drama, watchable and fairly light although I have shed a few tears.
