And, how often are people cleaning their ovens

Well the old one, I sold it when it got dirty and bought a new one. Well two to be exact, to go in the new kitchen extension. I put the old one on ebay, with clear photographs and the 'needs cleaning' disclaimer and got over £100 for it Grin. I don't know if there's a fetish market for dirty ovens that I accidentally tapped into, or the buyer underestimated the extent of my shamelessly slatternly ways, but there you go.

I let the new ones clean themselves when I get fed up of them nagging to be cleaned. They're self cleaning and tell you when they need cleaning.

Weirdly, the top oven that we mainly use as a grill and gets massively splattered with fat never asks to be cleaned and the bottom one, that we use as an oven, but mostly non splashy stuff, puts the cleaning request on much more often.
