What sayings cringe you out? Mine just recently is 'making memories' I absolute cringe so hard when I see it all over Facebook and Instagram.

Hasn’t it been a thing for ages now?

bigchris · 27/08/2018 19:21

Oh mine is

'Living my best life's

Oh purlease!

bigchris · 27/08/2018 19:22

I'm going to the offy #livingmybestlife

ElfridaEtAl · 27/08/2018 19:23

Someone on FB has the date she got with her husband and "something special started" next to it, she's put the same thing for the last 3 or 4 boyfriends 🙄

jarhead123 · 27/08/2018 19:24

I have a friend who every single wednesday posts something like 'happy hump day bitches' Confused I cringe every time!

Also have a friend who does Facebook stories generally moaning about her kids, the weather. She thinks she is witty and funny but it just screams 'trying to be funny & cool'

easternedge · 27/08/2018 19:24

It's a bit naff but the sentiment is nice. There's no need to be nasty about it as I've seen some people be.

Sophia99 · 27/08/2018 19:24

YANBU to hate it, but I have seen this so many times on here, that people hate the saying.

That is what people are doing though isn't it? Confused (making memories.....)

InspectorIkmen · 27/08/2018 19:24

Being the “best version of me” - usually as a promise to an intended. Just awful.

natwebb79 · 27/08/2018 19:26

Any email I receive at work inviting me to 'reach out' if I need anything. I just get that naff Diana Ross song in my head.

DontTouchTheMoustache · 27/08/2018 19:26

"Hubby"

TheFaerieQueene · 27/08/2018 19:28

All twee shite, for example:
Fam a lam (saw this on twitter today)

IncyWincyGrownUp · 27/08/2018 19:28

Living my best life.

No. I’m saving my best life for special occasions. I’m currently living my standard-issue everyday life.

Twats.

jarhead123 · 27/08/2018 19:29

Yes! Hubby is annoying too.

Someone put a photo on earlier of her kid with his umbrella up and hashtags #wildandfree #nofucksgiven #hisbestlife

It's an umbrella!

SenecaFalls · 27/08/2018 19:30

I find "making memories" perhaps not cringeworthy, but at least eye roll worthy. My parents took us all a lot of trips and otherwise provided us a rich and fulfilling childhood. I am pretty sure that they just referred to it as raising children and living your life.

katmarie · 27/08/2018 19:30

Hubster or hubby, both just makes me cringe for some reason.

NonJeNeRegretteRien · 27/08/2018 19:31

“Threenager” makes me grind my teeth

Also “forever home” makes me want to vomit.

swimbikerun123 · 27/08/2018 19:32

I read on FB, "on my holibobs with my little famalam #makingmemories"

Three phrases that make me want to unfollow in one status #unfollow

iklboo · 27/08/2018 19:33

Someone of my FB feed put a picture of her husband and son at the park with #hubbybubba #makingmemories #superblessed

Part of me hopes she's an MNer and being ironic

EachPeachPearRum · 27/08/2018 19:34

To be fair "cringed out" made me well cringe....

anitagreen · 27/08/2018 19:34

The word HUBSTA it's fucking awful it's worse than hubby

LoisCommonDenominator84 · 27/08/2018 19:34

I hate “people” eg “It’s Friyay people!!!!” Etc. Urgh.

ilovesooty · 27/08/2018 19:35

I agree. Throw in stuff about creating your own family traditions as well.

PrettyLovely · 27/08/2018 19:36

Swear there is a thread like this every week...

PrincessConsuelaBannanaHammock · 27/08/2018 19:37
