Do you still 'snog' your husband?

We've been together for 7 years, married for 3. I don't think we've had anything more passionate than a peck on the lips for about 6 years Shock - yes, even during sex... Interested what other couples do!?

Nah don’t really like it, we do snog a bit but I don’t particularly enjoy it. I used to like it when I was younger but been married 10 years now. Seeing other people do it makes me cringe a bit as well. I honestly don’t know why!

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 29/08/2018 08:55

@TornFromTheInside I found it funny.DH and I still french kiss, been together 14 years married for 6

Queenofthestress · 29/08/2018 09:08

Me and DP don't, never have with anyone else either, I just don't like the way it feels and it's a bit gross

Vitalogy · 29/08/2018 09:17

I'm just trying to imagine how you'd have sex without kissing and I just can't. Each to their own though.

CookPassBabtridge · 29/08/2018 12:12

Only during sex, we love it. We both have big lips so proper passsionate kissing feels really nice and is a huge turn on. We don't use tongues though!

stayathomer · 29/08/2018 20:13

Thanks so much for this thread-the night you wrote it I decided to properly properly snog during sex, which we do a bit but not as much as that night. Following morning going out the door dh comes over for a goodbye more than peck on cheek and following morning again. Smiling at me every so often and we're on again for tonight!

onetimeposter · 29/08/2018 21:04

Big lips Confused
Feel a bit ill

Furrydogmum · 29/08/2018 22:33

Yes, after 28 years together and 22 married!

KathrynOfArrogance · 31/08/2018 13:22

I'm sure this thread has just been on loose women!!

onetimeposter · 31/08/2018 14:32

Do tell...

KathrynOfArrogance · 31/08/2018 14:38

@onetimeposter they said there was a poll on mumsnet where a woman said she had been married 7 years but her and her husband don't snog any more so she was asking if it was normal.
Loose women did a poll and 59% said they still snog.
Then Stacey soloman was chatting about snogging her fella.....

CookPassBabtridge · 31/08/2018 14:38

onetimeposter Why does that make you feel ill? I didn't mean fake lips Grin I just prefer bigger lips for kissing and haven't enjoyed kissing men with thin lips.

KathrynOfArrogance · 31/08/2018 14:39

@OhFFSMum incase you didn't catch it it's probably on itv hub, thieves!

onetimeposter · 31/08/2018 14:42

Just a bit graphic, could only picture saliva Shock

OhFFSMum · 31/08/2018 14:46

16 years together and snog mostly just during sex but occasionally other times. We kiss (peck or more lingering but no tongues) and hug/ cuddle a lot though.

KathrynOfArrogance · 31/08/2018 14:49

@OhFFSMum I was like hmmmmm sure I've heard this some where before! Lol
Take um on judge rinder 🤣

CutesyUserName · 31/08/2018 17:54

I'm so relieved so many of you don't. I thought it was just us, seriously! I love my DH (of over 30 years) but snogging went out after our DFB about 27 years ago. I sort of miss it, but we are quite tactile and loving in so many other ways, so no big deal.

Tanfastic · 31/08/2018 22:54

Oh ffs I've had my first Mumsnet comment quoted in the Daily Fail Confused

onetimeposter · 31/08/2018 23:05

OhFFSMum · 31/08/2018 23:08

Who the f*ck has sex without kissing or kissing during it without tongues?!

You strange strange people. That's the best bit!!

TornFromTheInside · 01/09/2018 23:58

Maybe for some kissing is more intimate and considered part of making love, but less so for 'sex'?
I can't imagine being able to keep the two separate but maybe others can.
I can definitely see someone wanting to kiss without making love, but it's a struggle to imagine making love without wanting to kiss too.
That said, I don't think all people consider kissing a big deal - so maybe it doesn't matter to them.
