Do you still 'snog' your husband?

We've been together for 7 years, married for 3. I don't think we've had anything more passionate than a peck on the lips for about 6 years Shock - yes, even during sex... Interested what other couples do!?

OP posts:

Better put my best false teeth in - you never know do you?

TakeMeToKernow · 27/08/2018 18:31

Any success, OP?

5 years or so over here. God I miss snogging Sad

Kaybush · 27/08/2018 18:32

TornfromtheInside exactly - it's so special to me that I've only ever been able to do
It in the throes of passion at the start of a relationship.

This threads making me a bit worried actually- eek!

TornFromTheInside · 27/08/2018 18:40

I think it's a state of mind like most things. You can make it trivial if you choose to and miss out on something (rather a lot actually). Or you can make a very big deal and very intimate which only makes it more intense and fulfilling (imo).

I just think like most things in life, we let things slip. We take things for granted. We let other things take over.

We should start a campaign....

'Make one kiss mean something'

mumtimesthree · 27/08/2018 18:44

Been together for 6 years and still snog just not as often and as extreme as we used to. It's good to keep it going if it's something you both used to enjoy

GoJohnnyGoGoGoGo · 27/08/2018 19:12

We do try to grab a quick snog in the kitchen when alone. Together for 18 yrs, mid 30's.

TornfromtheInside love the campaign idea!! Feel like getting a t-shirt printed!

BlaaBlaaBlaa · 27/08/2018 19:17

Oh my goodness yes!! We love a good snog.... And a good grope. Been together 6 years. Our DS finds it mortifying 😂😂

SuzieCath · 27/08/2018 19:19

We've been together 14 years and I have never fancied him more, honestly he has grown older so well. Love a good snog!

Starlings27 · 27/08/2018 19:21

We’ve been together six years and we still “snog”, especially during foreplay and sex. Not as much as we did when we first got together though!

OldCarpet · 27/08/2018 19:29

Not for a decade I'd say
The few times he wants sex he slaps me on my arse like an old heffer

cloudyweewee · 27/08/2018 19:35

Married for 20 years. Can't remember the last time we snogged- or shagged for that matter.

Nuffaluff · 27/08/2018 19:38

Only during sex but always during sex. It’s DH’s favourite bit.

crispysausagerolls · 27/08/2018 19:39

Just during sex really, or sometimes just spontaneously but that’s not often at all. I think snogging is pretty important for sexual arousal!

miniHovis · 27/08/2018 19:44

We always snog, I couldn't imagine not snogging ( snogging is such a strange word lol, I prefer to say we winch 😂)

Vitalogy · 27/08/2018 19:44

It should be spiritual, never trivial! I agree.

MsHomeSlice · 27/08/2018 19:58

mmmmmmsnogging!!

we do it lots! So much so that the children (all grown up) make lots of noise if they are wandering about trying to find us so we know to Break It Up.

When they were younger it was an excellent way to keep them at bay.... "don't come in the kitchen we are KISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSING!"

winch?? that's wierd minihovis :o

onemorecupofcoffeefortheroad · 27/08/2018 20:00

Am I allowed to join in? I have a wife not a husband (same sex marriage) married for 2 yrs been together for 12 yrs and we snog a lot which embarrasses our DSs so it is usually accompanied by one or the other shouting 'filth!'

Boglin · 27/08/2018 20:20

DH just asked me what I was doing:
Me: Oh, just thinking about snogging.
DH: Who?!
Me: You! Grin
DH: [sigh] I've just paid £8 to watch the football, can't it wait until half-time??

Who says romance is dead?!

Isawthelight · 27/08/2018 20:34

I prefer to say we winch

Haha haven't heard winch for years, are you Scottish by any chance?

LuluJakey1 · 27/08/2018 20:44

When DH comes in from work he always gives me a big hug and kiss. We like a smoochy kiss and hug. When we first started seeing each other every date or every time we met started with a lingering kiss and hug. I used to go all achey inside. He is still the best kisser and does great hugs. Been together 10 years, married for 9.
But they are usually just smoochy kisses and hugs- kissing for kissing sake not a prelude to sex, that's a different kind of kiss. I'm not sure what the difference is but we both know it.

NickyNora · 27/08/2018 20:48

Sad no not for many years.

TheFormidableMrsC · 27/08/2018 20:56

Admittedly, that is probably the only thing I miss about my ex-h. I love a snog. I have snogged many since I became single, but even so, do not snog enough. It's a lovely and intimate thing and I think if you're married and happy and love you partner, you should do it often every day at least.

Nunyabusiness · 27/08/2018 21:00

Are you kidding? I barely talk to the man, let alone snog him Grin
