Do you still 'snog' your husband?

We've been together for 7 years, married for 3. I don't think we've had anything more passionate than a peck on the lips for about 6 years Shock - yes, even during sex... Interested what other couples do!?

Yes ‘things’ have to be done at the right time, I find it all a messy business and probably need to put a lock on our bedroom door sue to my fear of my boys wandering in.

mightbemarkedforever · 26/08/2018 06:54

Most days Grin

Golde · 26/08/2018 10:15

I'm quite shocked that some people have sex with no snogging.

Feels a bit clinical to me without

Saidthesharktotheflyingfish · 26/08/2018 10:20

We dont, but we hug, hold hands, kiss on the lips and are very tactile generally. All fine for me.

Batteriesallgone · 26/08/2018 10:20

We go through phases

Funnily enough we talked the other day about it and realised never of us can snog when we’re stressed!!

Even when we’re still having sex, it’s like snogging is the first thing to go.

We both make an effort to monitor it and reinitiate if it’s been a while. Often requires alcohol though

Mrsglitterfairy · 26/08/2018 10:35

Yeah we like a good snog, sometimes leads to more but not always. We’ve been together for 12 years and married for 2

trevthecat · 26/08/2018 10:39

We snog alot! We are quite touchy feely though. Together a long time.

Nothisispatrick · 26/08/2018 10:39

Yes during sex and then big kisses when we say goodbye in the morning and when we get home.

sorryihaventacluetoo · 26/08/2018 10:40

I absolutely hate snogging. My DH wants to snog during sex but it just makes me feel a bit queasy. In fairness, I've never really liked it.

Daddyto2monsters · 26/08/2018 10:43

I have been with my wife for 11 years and we do not snog anymore. I would be up for it but she is not so keen unless drunk.

I would say plant one on him and see, everyone likes a cheeky snog

MrsMotherHen · 26/08/2018 10:49

yep together 8 years and had a cheeky one this morning Wink

Hes having a power nap at the moment hes been up early with the kids but when hes up i might snog his face off!

TheHulksPurplePanties · 26/08/2018 10:50

My DH loves snogging. I am not a fan (I have ADHD so after about 3 seconds of snogging my mind starts to wander and I get bored, not DH's fault it's happened with everyone I've snogged). What's ended up happening is a lot of 2 second snogs before I break away, which bothers him. It's our only real clashing point.

MaryBoBary · 26/08/2018 10:53

We only really snog during sex too - been together 10 years. We do kiss a lot but just not snogging.

I really hate the word snogging - makes me feel about 14 again but there isn’t really another word is there?!? French kissing I suppose but that is mega cringe

EnglishRose13 · 26/08/2018 11:00

Been together 7 years. Married 4 and a half. Snog all the time.

sunshinelollipopsrainbows · 26/08/2018 11:05

He's now my ex but snogging was just for sex and not always.

Badtasteflump · 26/08/2018 11:16

Yes we still snog and have been together 29 years. Tbh if either of us went off it I would worry it was a sign we didn't fancy each other anymore, so I hope we're still snogging when we're 80 Grin.

Feeling sorry for Richard Smith and his parsnip breath though Confused

Badtasteflump · 26/08/2018 11:17

Ha, added a bit on there... meant 20 years, not 29, in case anybody's counting Smile

mammmamia · 26/08/2018 11:23

This thread is so interesting Blush as I was also wondering about this.
Also during sex here but not much otherwise. I agree it gives DH the wrong idea if initiated at the wrong time! We are fairly affectionate but having young DC gets in the way of other stuff. We are happy though.
Together for 20 years, married for 15.

mammmamia · 26/08/2018 11:25

I also agree about the word snogging. There doesn’t seem to be another word for it. I was a big snogger at school / university. Loved it. Snogged loads of boys. What do the kids call it nowadays?

123bananas · 26/08/2018 11:36

12 years, yes and not just during sex.

Make time for it, it is easy to get caught up on the doing of everyday life and the importance of little intimacies like cuddles and snogs get forgotten. I always snatch mine in the kitchen as the kids are less likely to be watching and they tend to try and jump in the middle of any cuddles.

Grab his hand, pull him in close and remind him how nice a good snog is.

Ilovemypantry · 26/08/2018 11:36

DeadDoorpost
Your parents make out on the regular....how do you know that? 😮😮

S0upertrooper · 26/08/2018 12:05

We've been snogging for 35 years! Nowadays it's mainly when having sex but we still have the odd snog when we're not stressed or we're feeling a bit romantic. I've got to choose my moments as DH still gets revved up as easily as he did when we were 16. I usually give him a cheeky snog just as he's leaving for work!

OhFFSMum · 26/08/2018 12:08

God yes I'm not sure how I missed that - your hubby eats RAW parsnips!!!!!??? I didn't even know that was possible lol . Poor you!

RoboticSealpup · 26/08/2018 12:15

Mainly during sex because he doesn't like getting too excited and then not getting any action.

We've been together 8 years.
