To tell a mum on school run thatout her thong is very visible through her leggings?

I see a mum on the school mum every morning wearing very see through leggings. Today, she bent down in front on me to get something out of the pram basket and I was greeted by the view of her arse through her leggings. She had a pink thong on under thin black leggings and a top which stopped at her hips. So everything was visible, I felt embarrassed on her behalf. A longer top would have covered a multitude of areas.

So my aibu is if I see her again should I tell her that her that her arse is on view? Diplomatically of course. I'd want to know I think. It's hard to see how see through a fabric is until you wear it and you won't always be aware that your backside is on view.

Maybe she does it on purpose?

ijustwannadance · 28/06/2018 11:42

Don't bother. She probably knows.

femidom12 · 28/06/2018 11:43

Can you send a diagram?

skippy67 · 28/06/2018 11:43

She knows.

gamerchick · 28/06/2018 11:43

You want to tell another woman you've been looking at her arse?

CoughLaughFart · 28/06/2018 11:44

I’d tell a friend, but not just some woman I see on the school run.

JenBarber · 28/06/2018 11:44

She knows.

It's deliberate. She thinks it's sexy. Maybe it is? I have no idea.

Clinicallysilly · 28/06/2018 11:48

Well I'd rather not tell her and I won't now but I and the whole playground including the teachers can't help but see her arse. The leggings are that thin but the good thing is I now check the thickness of my leggings & make sure my top covers my arse.

If she knows why would she want all her kids friends in the playground to see her arse? Would you?

She may well not know they are see through. I see people in leggings all the time that are defo not trying to be sexy but have see through leggings.
But equally, she'll feel crap if you tell her, so why bother? It's not bothering her currently, she's not your friend. I wouldn't thank a stranger for telling me that and making me feel small.

murphys · 28/06/2018 11:51

Sounds like every other person in my gym class. Unfortunately I like to stand at the back. The view isnt grand some days. I thought gstrings werent that popular anymore. Well it seems they still are.

I dont say anything, as i think they know.

pigsDOfly · 28/06/2018 11:51

I've seen this sort of thing so often and always wonder if the wearer is aware of it. I suspect not. Tell her if you're brave enough.

Years ago I went out wearing a very nice pair of white linen trousers with a pair of tiny white knickers with small yellow flowers underneath.

Wasn't until I was getting undressed to go to bed that I realised my knickers were completely visible through the trousers.

Couldn't have done anything about it if someone had told me.

Melliegrantfirstlady · 28/06/2018 11:52

Say nothing. Quite frankly it’s none of your business and you should not be looking at peeps bottoms when they bend down either. Or if you do at least prepare to be offended!

Lethaldrizzle · 28/06/2018 11:52

Gym class bit different to school playground. I'm just amazed anyone's wearing black leggings in this weather!

Lethaldrizzle · 28/06/2018 11:53

Is someone bends over right in front of me then yes I will look at their arse

Clinicallysilly · 28/06/2018 11:53

No I'm not going to tell her now as I said in my last post. I originally wanted to tell her to prevent some parents from gawping & sniggering. I'm not being judgy, I just wanted to save her further embarrassment that's all.

But I'll keep quiet now.

I think that people must do this on purpose. When I wear leggings and low rise trousers I always bend over in the mirror to see if my thong/ knickers is visible. I wouldn't say anything to someone I didn't know but would with a friend.

Ohmydayslove · 28/06/2018 11:55

She knows. Butt out Grin

GummyGoddess · 28/06/2018 11:55

I would tell her. She might not know, I emailed someone from another department at work I could see their knickers. She didn't reply but she spent the rest of the day with a jacket around her waist and never wore those trousers again so clearly she didn't realise.

I would want someone to tell me!

intuition · 28/06/2018 11:55

Be grateful she is wearing underwear!! I find it unbelievable at my Pilates class how many women wear no undies under thin leggings then bend over during the class and I have to shut my eyes!! It's gross!!

Juells · 28/06/2018 11:56

I'd leer and say "Ooooooh, pink thong, sexxxxyyyy!"

Grin
Clinicallysilly · 28/06/2018 12:00

It's her regular uniform and she's not a gym goer as far as I know. Yes in this weather leggings are just a bit too hot and clingy. Wide legged palazzos are more comfier.

I'm not staring at her bum because I'm a perv, she bent down in front of me and I could see everything. Now she's visible to me, I see her in the playground with hip length t shirts, see through leggings and thongs which are hard to miss.

Now would everybody be as dismissive if it was a guy wearing thin trousers so his crotch, back side or undies were visible. Same thing or not? Still out in a playground with children present.

She may not actually know if the leggings are black. Lots of women presume dark coloured leggings are not see through.

I was once stuck in a traffic queue and noticed all these male drivers passing me on the other side mesmerised by a female cyclist. She cycled passed me and I realised that her thong was clearly visible through her black cycling shorts.

Seafoodeatit · 28/06/2018 12:05

Pointless to say anything unless you wanted to mutter something PA in her general direction like 'gotta love people who love to flash their butt cracks at strangers'.

@intuition - NO, NO NONOONO what??? no, please tell me I read that wrong.

problembottom · 28/06/2018 12:05

I wouldn't say this to anyone but a close friend to be honest. You do see this quite a lot, not a good look.

Melliegrantfirstlady · 28/06/2018 12:05

A guy? Honestly unless he was flashing his shlong a dong then no. I don’t look at peoples arses except my own in the mirror when trying outfits
