She works part time in a minimum wage job and he’s unemployed ... yet they are probably on their 10th holiday of the year.

He’s a well known dealer in this area.

Just shit to see people benefiting from pretty much ruining lives

dworky · 21/06/2018 20:01

But living in constant fear of repercussions and/or arrest.

Nothing to envy, in fact.

WhiteLily83 · 21/06/2018 20:03

I’ve been told a number of the pupils at our local private school are the sons/daughters of drug dealers.

Iflyaway · 21/06/2018 20:08

Addicts don’t exactly have free will do they?

Everyone has free will actually.

endofthelinefinally · 21/06/2018 20:08

Yes, round here too.

We have a very expensive area near us.
It goes:
Ancient pop star
Ancient Actor
Football club manager
Very rich musician
Drug dealer
And so on...
A few Russian oligarchs thrown in.

endofthelinefinally · 21/06/2018 20:10

Addiction is a terrible illness and dealers are despicable people for preying on ill, vulnerable and desperate people.

EveningHare · 21/06/2018 20:13

well if you're not going to report it, then what do you want to do?

PyongyangKipperbang · 21/06/2018 20:14

So HE is the dealer, she works in a legitimate job but you are slagging HER off? Why is that?

RavenLG · 21/06/2018 20:16

"Pissed off by how many holidays SHE goes on?"
Yet HE is the well known drug dealer.
Talk about blame the woman with the man more than the man, typical.

Yup. OP isn't pissed off, she's jealous. Clearly you're friends with / know these people well enough to know the inns and outs of their daily business, so disassociate yourselves from them and or learn to not care about things you can't control and have no business with.

Kursk · 21/06/2018 20:17

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo

We lost faith in them too. When we lived in the UK we called the police on several occasions. They did nothing.

SoddingUnicorns · 21/06/2018 20:18

Everyone has free will actually

In the instance of drug addicts. They have free will to take it initially. If you think once they’re in the grip of addiction they have free will, you’ve never met an addict

Obviouspretzel · 21/06/2018 20:24

They still have free will. It just isn't strong enough to beat their addiction. A choice is still made, every time they partake.

AcrossthePond55 · 21/06/2018 20:25

I'm reminded of the quote although don't remember who said it: "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem".

tillytoodles1 · 21/06/2018 20:26

The big boys don't get caught, they just take the money. The desperate minions who do the dirty work are the ones that do time.

Tara336 · 21/06/2018 20:33

I had some sympathy for what you were saying until I dislike the police comment, be sure not to call them if you need help then the6 can concentrate on helping those of us that do appreciate what they do

HaudYerWheeshtBawbag · 21/06/2018 20:35

He’s the local dealer selling kids drugs and the only thing you’re complaining and jealous about is how many holidays they are having Confused

Zebra31 · 21/06/2018 20:44

This thread is bonkers. We have

People dont have to buy drugs off them.. Right, so it’s ok for the dealers to deal. FML

And

I personally dislike the police quite strongly so I would never speak to them anyway. Even if the local dealer is selling shit that will turn the kids on your estate into drug addicts or even worse, kill the kids on your estate? WTF

And

I even had a business card handed to me yesterday for a weed dealer. My advice, give the police the business card. Head, wall....

LuxeLisbon · 21/06/2018 20:47

if you think the police aren’t corrupt then I think you need to open your eyes.

I’d never be abusive to them but when you know people who should have been under police protective and died then

OP posts:
Zebra31 · 21/06/2018 20:50

Op, you are part of the problem. Stop complaining if you won’t do anything about. But be assured you are part of the problem when you see those kids in your estate on drugs.

RomeoBunny · 21/06/2018 20:51

@WhiteLily83 that happened here... the school changed to an academy to stamp out the problems.

They'd be trying to bribe, threaten and harrass teachers.

And the kids would be leaving 6th form classes for lunch in their own £26k Merc 😏

petrolpump28 · 21/06/2018 20:51

drugs are everywhere and yes they are funding yummy mummys breaks

RomeoBunny · 21/06/2018 20:51

@LuxeLisbon ...

You can't see you're part of the problem can you?

Nicknacky · 21/06/2018 21:14

Op, so every police officer is corrupt?

LuxeLisbon · 21/06/2018 21:20

You can't see you're part of the problem can you?

So what’s the solution then?

OP posts:
LuxeLisbon · 21/06/2018 21:22

But be assured you are part of the problem when you see those kids in your estate on drugs.

My estate? Lol in fact I rarely ever see children or teenagers on my street.

OP posts:
Zebra31 · 21/06/2018 21:23

So what’s the solution then?

  1. Go to the police
  2. Move somewhere else
  3. if you don’t choose option 1 or option 2 then stop complaining.
