To those saying she should have blocked SZ weeks ago - it's very easy to have 20/20 hindsight. The woman was part of a wider group and her child is friendly with OP's child. It's surely understandable that OP was trying to get her to back off gently rather than going for the nuclear option straight off?

Oh OP I've half been following this and thought her behaviour, over her beliefs of soft play etiquette are is out of this world. Then it escalated further, I honestly want to believe she's unwell rather than this unhinged.

So they said they went in and asked what she thought had been going on. She said we were close friends and suddenly I had stopped talking to her. She denyed any harassment till he showed her the screen shot I'd given him of the number of calls when she told them it was cos I owed her money which went from being a 'sizable amount' to '£5 can be alot for some'. They checked with me if I owed her and said if I did they advised me to send her the money but had also advised her to write it off. They basically told her that this was an informal chat but that I was prepared to take it further if she didn't stop. And gave her info about the PIN stuff. Her dp arrived home in this time so is also aware of the situation but didn't appear surprised (I asked this). They have given me info on the next steps and said I will have to give a full statement if I want to go there. They will call again in a few days to see how I am.

So she lied then. She wasn't a close friend. You don't owe her any money, nor had she specifically asked you for money (just to pay for her because she's mad).

And anyway, surely if you owed her money she'd have asked for it in her numerous texts. She hasn't and you have evidence of this.
