I can't update just now but here's the new thread. I will update later when I can.

OP posts:
Ginkypig · 31/05/2018 17:31

Iv been following your threads but I didn't want to add as you were handling things and didn't want to fill the thread with unnecessary posts but this latest update has left me so upset on your behalf and I just wanted to say stay strong this is not your fault!

How dare she do this to you!

MadMags · 31/05/2018 17:32

Yeah, deranged is a good word for this...

worstmotherintheworld · 31/05/2018 17:32

Worral the op is being approached and harrassed by Softzilla in face-to-face situations as well as by phone/text, so I don't think that blocking her would make any difference to the problem. It's not an ongoing tit-for-tat, but a one-sided onslaught by this crazy woman who won't take no for an answer.

BewareOfDragons · 31/05/2018 17:33

She appears to have realised instantly the police were there for her and why. Says a lot, really. Another 14 missed calls showing she has completely lost the plot and clearly doesn't see it herself!

WorraLiberty · 31/05/2018 17:34

Yeah but if she'd blocked her ages ago then she couldn't have sent text etc to the OP? Confused

YearOfYouRemember · 31/05/2018 17:34

I did initially feel sorry for her but this is beyond annoying.

kaytee87 · 31/05/2018 17:35

Can anyone be bothered summarising for me?

TheClitterati · 31/05/2018 17:35

oh bugger the other thread was deletes due to bunfighting before I got to read it - was it Softzilla?

This is all too fucking weird.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 31/05/2018 17:36

When the ex (who hit me one weekend, all weekend) decided to try and contact me repeatedly and also turned up at my house and tried to gain entry, I was told by the police I had done the correct thing in blocking all his access via phone and social media.

I was also told to email him explaining that his contact was unwanted. In fact a lovely police officer helped me write the email, she knew exactly what to say.

So going by the last thread, yes op does need to tell sz to stop contacting her but now she has involved the police, they will help her with this.

LessOfaMess · 31/05/2018 17:37

Thanks op

Tiredspice2 · 31/05/2018 17:37

What’s happened?

Goodasgoldilox · 31/05/2018 17:37

Worra the op was advised (by the police) not to block. The texts will be useful record and evidence.

FuckPants · 31/05/2018 17:38

Yeah but if she'd blocked her ages ago then she couldn't have sent text etc to the OP? confused

The OP was advised not to block the nut job.

WorraLiberty · 31/05/2018 17:38

TopBitch that's exactly what the police advise in harassment cases every.single.time.

Which is why I'm surprised this has been going on for 2 whole months now.

ThinkOfAWittyNameLater · 31/05/2018 17:39

@WorraLiberty the police advised OP not to block softzilla.

Softzilla has been aggressive in person, even with witnesses present. She's not just a hide-behind-the-keyboard idiot but an in-person threat. Softzilla has threatened to turn up on OPs doorstep, and the latest involves softzilla trying to get access to OP's child without OP being present.

OP needs all the support she can get from the police to try to contain this situation and keep herself & her child safe.

@Unreasonableunreasonableness I hope you're okay & the police are reassuring you x

SoddingUnicorns · 31/05/2018 17:39

Fucking hell this escalated really fast since my last sojourn onto MN! OP I’m sorry you’re going through this and I hope you’re ok Flowers

DarlingNikita · 31/05/2018 17:40

Yeah but if she'd blocked her ages ago then she couldn't have sent text etc to the OP?

No, but she has been trying to talk to her face to face, at their group etc. And I know she threatened by text to come round to OP's house, but she could still come round even if she hadn't sent a text, IYSWIM.

Plus, as others have said, the continued attempts at contact are useful for the police.

Bookmarking because my llama is hungry!

WorraLiberty · 31/05/2018 17:41

Ok well I can only speak about the Met Police to be fair

But they really don't have time for this sort of drama, especially considering they don't even come out when your home's been burgled or your car gets stolen, as they just don't have the manpower and resources.

If the OP was physically threatened in public, they would of course ask for witnesses but beyond that, they would always advise blocking all phone/email contact.

Strokethefurrywall · 31/05/2018 17:41

Yeah but if she'd blocked her ages ago then she couldn't have sent text etc to the OP? confused

Well she could have just blocked her after the growling incident, and the staring at her incident but she didn't - which is Worra's question. If she'd have just blocked her in the first place we wouldn't be three threads and all this drama down.

werideatdawn · 31/05/2018 17:41

When people call Worra, Worral... 🙄

candlefloozy · 31/05/2018 17:42

Surely police is a step too far? She hasn't threatened anyone has she?

Cuttingthegrass · 31/05/2018 17:42

I hope SZ finally understands to leave OP alone after police visit but will be a tense atmosphere at next group meeting

Dobby1sAFreeElf · 31/05/2018 17:43

OP was advised by police not to block her and to tell her explicitly not to contact again, which was done before the police got involved. Soft tried to make contact over 14 times in several hours after being told not to.
