I can't update just now but here's the new thread. I will update later when I can.

I never knew my stalker's name. He was just a face in the crowd. I don't think I had ever spoken to him, not that I could remember anyway. He was sort of familiar but I think it was because he was following me for a while before I really became aware of him.

Cagliostro · 31/05/2018 21:54

Presumably she is saying the fiver (or previously “sizeable amount”) is owed because you so cruelly didn’t pay for the soft play that first time?!

Because you obviously forced her to pay at gunpoint.

Nutter.

Really glad the police are being so helpful ⭐️💐

JingsMahBucket · 31/05/2018 21:56

@mmzz for a lot of stalkers, they just want to be able to physically get close to you or in your space. To know they could at least do it. Once that happens, the game is over for them and they're done. For different stalkers the "physically getting close to you" varies in levels.

For some it's standing in an alley 5 feet away from you and never talking. Others it's bounding and gagging you. Some people just want to touch someone's hair. See: lots of celebrities with stalkers who just want to hug the person and will then leave them them the fuck alone.

It's totally dependent on that individual stalker's mental state and there's pretty much nothing you can do about it. And that, is what makes it so terrifying.

xsquared · 31/05/2018 21:57

So sorry to hear your distress over this saga. Please don’t let this vindictive person stop you doing the things you enjoy.
The police have her details and are paying attention so that must count for something.
Stay strong.

LexieLulu · 31/05/2018 22:08

Are you planning on taking this further or seeing how it goes now she's been warned?

bumpsadaisy11 · 31/05/2018 22:09

OP no advice, but I just had the urge to give you a big (virtual) hug, cause you really deserve it 💐💐

Aeroflotgirl · 31/05/2018 22:09

Wow all because you stood up to her cheeky fuckery, it seems that she has a form for this behViour, she is totally unhynged. No do not pay on principle, you owe her nothing, if you did, that woukd place guilt on yiu. Hope her husband gives her a good talking to.

KeepServingTheDrinks · 31/05/2018 22:10

So sorry it's come to this, Unreasonable, but it's great the police are being so supportive.

I guess it ends now.

What were party mum's thoughts?

Weezol · 31/05/2018 22:12

Donate the 'owed' £5 to a mental health charity.

Whoops, wrong thread- have reported. But there’s my holiday hack 😎

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 31/05/2018 22:15

Are you on the right thread Fiesta? Good tip, though! 🍸

mmzz · 31/05/2018 22:15

If it were me, and £5 would make it all stop, then I'd pay. £5 is a bargain versus the worry and the cost of some of the other things you could end up buying to protect yourself.
It's just that paying £5 now is more likely to make things worse. It would be different if the whole £5 thing wasn't a product of her twisted mind.

eggcellent · 31/05/2018 22:15

FiestaThenSiesta where is this alcohol tips thread? Grin

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 31/05/2018 22:17

Fiesta going for the stealthy placemarker there.

Just say 'she sounds unhinged' like every other placemarker Grin

sobersandra · 31/05/2018 22:17

I'd be tempted to send her 500 1p coins and have done with her.

SachaStark · 31/05/2018 22:18

To be honest, Fiesta's advice quite on point.

OP, bring a paper cup thermos of wine to the next playgroup.

FiestaThenSiesta · 31/05/2018 22:18

Don’t post tipsy, kids!

Dobby1sAFreeElf · 31/05/2018 22:20
