To think Matthew wight is correct

So Matthew Wright is correct

The chase guest said in a conversation about woman’s rights that Paris lees used to be a boy

Now Matthew was told to apologise on the guests behalf despite the show receiving no complaints he asked why he should considering no complaint has been made and the guest was factually correct Confused

Husband has now hit peak trans he was the one who pointed this out to me

It's utterly insane. He is being asked to apologise for something factually correct that he didn't say and the person it was said to/about did not complain. It's actually quite scary, I think. The mere perceived threat (none was made) of transgender activists taking this up and they push a long standing and highly rated presenter to resign......

I know a lot of people on here don't like him but I always enjoyed his show. Far better than This Morning. I think the producers will regret his leaving.

But good on him for standing by his principles.

Mathew wright has been sacked Shock good for him for standing up for his convictions. I saw that episode with Ann from the chase she didn't say a thing untrue and she also said she had Aspegers so I guess she said it how she saw it.

Paris disagreed with Chase person so Chase person used trans status of Paris as a bitchy put-down. Chase person is the one who should be apologising.

Oh wow. I have watched this show on and off for the best part of twelve years! It will surely cease to exist without him which will be a real shame, I love it.

I have to admit, I watched this episode and Ann Hegarty was incredibly rude. It did leave me open mouthed in shock at the time... Matthew Wright did apologise the next day. Also, this happened about a month or so ago...

I really don’t get this, if she said ‘you are a boy’ then yeah I’d get it, but she said USED TO which is a fact. What is there to apologise over? (And I’m not peak trans usually I hide all of the trans talk on here but this is outrageous)
