To think Matthew wight is correct

So Matthew Wright is correct

The chase guest said in a conversation about woman’s rights that Paris lees used to be a boy

Now Matthew was told to apologise on the guests behalf despite the show receiving no complaints he asked why he should considering no complaint has been made and the guest was factually correct Confused

Husband has now hit peak trans he was the one who pointed this out to me

My mum will be very disappointed, she thought Matthew Wright was great. I rarely watch it myself as I find listening to all the difffernt panel opinions a bit exhausting. I do wonder how Wright has kept it up for years. I hope he has a nice long holiday/rest.

As for the trans thing, God, I just wish all those people would go away sick of them blathering on, always complaining about what it is never clear! Lost any respect/sympathy I once had.

He's an irritating pain in the arse but I'll miss him. I watched the episode in question. AH said what she thought and MW diidn't pick her up on it because it was a statement of fact. Next day Anne Diamond made a simpering apology. (She'll do anything for a paycheck).

MW isn't transphobic. There are two trans people regularly in the audience and he treats them with the respect they deserve. I phoned the show to complain about the 'apology and ended up in tears of frustration while talking to the intern who took the call.

I liked MW but didn't agree with his shows far left views. Surprised he is involved in trans-issues given Corbyns position on them.

i wouldn't have thought that Paris had much sway with the authority, given they were locked up for violent assault and robbery.
Paris lets TV stations look 'woke' - when they age and go bald and lantern jawed there'll be another young transwoman to take paris' place.

YANBU.The worlds cracked it face. No one can open their mouths even if they are just soeaking the truth. I know Matthew never said it, but All this has happened because of what someone said.
Also,Will they be changing the name. After all you can hardly call it the "Wright" stuff without Matthew "Wright", and Some might say why should the producers be allowed to use his name

I hope it's not the reason he's quit, I've watched the show most days for years and although I disagree with him on a few things I'll miss him.

If Richard Madeley takes over I'll never watch again, I'd rather watch Jeremy Kyle....
