Not exactly a TAAT but as we're talking about people who witter on about their totally random pet obsessions, do you fancy entertaining me (while I lie here suffering off some hideous lurgy) by telling me your pet thing that you witter on about?

For me it's probably animals. I find it really hard not to share the fact that I have seen a red kite/a woodpecker/next door's cat today. I'm so glad for Facebook now as I can post a picture of said wildlife and other people who give a shit can Like it. I don't know why I find them so fascinating really, maybe it's just that it's a damn sight more fun than talking about the news these days Grin

Probably work.

I'm a teacher, so usually spend evenings moaning about school.

Food. Cooking, recipes, supermarkets, cooking tv programmes etc
And thus why I’m fat

T2517 · 30/04/2018 14:24

Musicals, sweets, grizzly crimes..bit of a combo!

PuppyMonkey · 30/04/2018 14:25

My cat. My menopausal symptoms. Oh yes and laundry. Blush

I’m so fucking boring.

VladmirsPoutine · 30/04/2018 14:26

The EU, the advertising industry and race issues.

WeirdCatLady · 30/04/2018 14:27

I’m doing an MA and the dog is sick of hearing about my dissertation. Dh and dd got bored a while back so I try not to witter on about it too much, but the dPets are fair game 😂

ClaudiaWankleman · 30/04/2018 14:27

Regional Chinese cuisine Blush

People look at me like I’m mad when I start on.

It’s also my go to reading topic on slow days at work.

UpstartCrow · 30/04/2018 14:29

Ha! Its animals for me as well. The cinema has a beehive on the roof and you can go up and watch them (from behind glass). Literally nobody cares but it doesn't stop me telling them Grin

KurriKurri · 30/04/2018 14:29

Positive wittering - like you OP it is wildlife, birds - I have a brain full of random wildlife facts.

Negative wittering (the type that makes people look round for a means of escape) - the council's ineptitude with regard to waste collection (don't get me started) and cat's pooing in my garden (ditto don't mention gardens or cats or I'm off and ranting)

The dog often has to put up with my drivellings as the children will tell me to change the record Grin

akitas2 · 30/04/2018 14:31

Ooh anything dog related, mainly about how much I love mine and all the things he gets up to!

Comealongpond89 · 30/04/2018 14:33

Tv shows I love. I can talk for hours about Dr who, supernatural, friends, how I met your mother, big bang theory, Brooklyn nine nine, agents of shield. I could go on but I can imagine the glazed looks that I usually get

DH has started calling me 'mad bird lady' as I love watching the birds in the garden and providing a running commentary (usually to myself).

toomuchtooold · 30/04/2018 15:24

See now you all sound fascinating!
