I would when I was about 8 , being on the middle of a slide and falling off it , injuring my back

Being knocked out (and almost killed!) by a golf ball!

When I was a toddler I was in leg plasters for dislocated hips. I became very grizzly and miserable at Christmas and dad took me to A&E where they found I had three pieces of Lego embedded in my thigh ( stuffed down the plasters).

I still have three triangular, Lego sized scars on my thigh. Nobody has ever guessed correctly how I came by them. I feel sorry for the poor doctor, must have been a horrific sight.

Having my calf sheared off by a horse who’d knocked me down and trampled me. If you don’t want to see an excessively gory picture, don’t look at my next post!

Told you! My brother is a dive master. He thought I’d been bitten by a shark. In Hertfordshire

Jebus Christ brig

Fell off a wall as a dc and have a scar on my fanjo, pointed out during a smear at 30+. I never knew!!
Knee dislocated by my large dog whilst hanging washing out - she couldn't see it was me and lunged!
Bitten on the arm by our pet iguana - took weeks to heal and bloody hurt!!

Slipped a disc opening the fridge

My injuries are mostly ridiculous.

Broke my big toes demonstrating hand stands to ds and landing badly

Bruised both arms black falling on to a table while jumping from chair to chair (at uni)

I always have bruises from walking into door handles and furniture corners

I came here to talk about the time I split my thumbnail trying to get into a butternut squash, but JESUS CHRIST BRIGANTE! Has it healed ok?

My squash injury is not on the same level.

Broke my thumb playing pool

Broke 3 ribs and sprained my knee changing sheets on DC bunk beds many years ago - I forgot I was on the top of the ladder and stepped back - ouch

I currently have a partially dislocated jaw, which I did rolling over in bed. Ridiculous.

Healing process after big skin graft which actually hurt more!

I stepped onto a kid's plastic garden rake. It got stuck in my foot so I pulled it out.

There’s a very obvious gap in the leg, it would probably look far better if lost a lot of weight, but the knee is pretty wobbly since a 600kg horse stood on it so it’s difficult to walk far or do lots of exercise. Plus I’m a greedy cow!

I got bitten on the neck by a fish

I dislocated my pinkie finger playing duck duck goose.

Ran around the corner of our house to get away from my brother shooting me with a water pistol straight into my Dad's car parked on the drive that wasn't there before. Put my head straight through the passenger window and broke my wrist. My Dad was furious until he saw the blood.

Tore my rotator cuff and lots of ligaments and tendons in my shoulder. I was in horrific pain for over a year and extensive physio and massage and acupuncture not to mention heavy pain killers. I can't raise it fully above my head and it's sold and weaker than my other arm. The doctors didn't believe me as it was so badly injured they thought I had been dead lifting or something.

I wash cleaning the bath. Incidentally I genuinely fear cleaning the bath out now and haven't done it since.

Broke my foot on a Segway last year. Showing off. In my kitchen. Not such a cool ending to that story.

Ran at a bathroom door to get it to open (it wasn't locked, just very stiff), fell straight through it when it burst open and broke my wrist. I was twelve.

Burned my knuckles and the back of my fingers on a pizza fresh out of the oven.
The pizza went flying and the sauce got on the ceiling.

This was a couple of months ago.

As a child, I stabbed myself in the forehead (by accident).

I gouged a lump out of my eyebrow after shutting my finger in a metal-framed door, feeling faint at the sight of blood and then keeling over, going down like a felled tree and bashing my head & knocking myself out on the way down.
