To be completely obsessed with Rightmove?

So I'm obsessed with it. I work agency night shifts and I need to prove my wages for at least a year before I can be considered for a mortgage with DH. He's got a great job but could only get a mortgage of £140k max on his own.

So on my breaks at night at work I just look at houses! It's pathetic but I love it!

So wibu to ask you to indulge me and share your fave rightmove houses?

I love the houses that people just don't give a shit about. Like they must have known someone was coming to take a photo but no fucks given or the really weird lay out/ odd decor. I love them all!!

I like this one; the bar especially and the ensuite where you could definitely not have a shit!

I do exactly the same thing!
Me and my friends even have a patheticimaginary game where we'll send each other dream houses (hint - always sort by price High to Low to get the really good stuff) and make out like it's an actual option.
We even have 'Terrance' our imaginary property developer, and 'Quentin' our financial advisor.
We'll send each other houses with such nonsense as 'Terrence is patched in' or 'Quentin says it's doable, if we liquidate a bit'

For what it's worth, this is one that Terrence is currently getting the wheels in motion for, although he's concerned about the quirky decor, thinks it might need to be renovated if it's going to have any buy to let potential. I'll keep you all posted.

I’m so glad I’m not alone in this. My mum loves it too, and used to look in all the estate agents windows on the way home from school with us pre rightmove 😂

I also love Right Move. I’ve noticed a tendency for houses to be increasingly marketed like show homes with those where people haven’t bothered sticking.

Has anyone watched the show on ITVbe, Buying and Selling? The two presenters make it worth watching just for the eye candy but the homes they are selling end up looking amazing.

I’m sure the owner of the first house in your OP is on mumsnet. I remember a thread on the multicoloured chandelier in the kitchen; they were asking thoughts on it as they loved it!

The thread was called “is this hideous or not” or something similar.

I love the first two houses, my house is bright like that.

I'm SO glad other people do this too, there's no way we can afford a house st all anytime soon, but I look on Rightmove every day
I love judging the houses, as to what they've left out (like bleach on top of the toilet!), or one house had left piles of clothes all over the beds! You'd think the estate agents would move stuff like that before picturing..
Another house had been listed with different EAs & in one picture the master bedroom had a massive collection of teddies all lined up on the bed.. in the other there was none!

Then sometimes I'll look at random locations around the UK to see what those houses are like.. mostly expensive ones in areas of London.

Also has anyone ever noticed sometimes the bathrooms are so small the estate agents have stood in the bath to get a good picture

I really need to get out more

I imagine I have won the lottery and go look at penthouses in London.
