Which theories, dismissed by many as conspiracy theories, do you regard as the truth?

I find it interesting that Charles was such good pals with Saville, surely anyone allowed into the inner sanctum of royalty as JS was would have had their background thoroughly checked out?

Also Thatcher fought tooth and nail for saville to receive his OBE, despite the application being rejected at least twice by the panel, who had heard rumours of his abuse.

Why was it so important to her?

I agree he is only the tip of the iceberg.

Helmetbymidnight · 20/02/2018 12:53

I think accepting everything you see on the news and in the newspapers at face value is very stupid.

Who does that? C'mon, tell us.

Who is saying, or has ever said the establishment don't lie?

Your statements have been riddled with inaccuracies and untruths.

The best way to fight back when politicians lie is with evidence, facts, logic and reason NOT stupid made up shit.

FilledSoda · 20/02/2018 12:55

Is this still going ?
Happy days

ShatnersWig · 20/02/2018 12:59

Bodicea Would have been a helluva conception. She'd only been seeing Dodi for six weeks and she had her period while on holiday and the autopsy confirmed no pregnancy. But don't let facts get in the way, eh?

NameChanger22 · 20/02/2018 13:00

Your statements have been riddled with inaccuracies and untruths.

Where exactly? Please point them out to me.

Nobody is going to able to prove their theories are correct on here. If there was enough evidence they would no longer be theories. If my theory had been on News at 10 you would have instantly believed it, without evidence.

Elendon · 20/02/2018 13:00

Look at the evidence i.e. history

TM is not a credible remainer. Why are you arguing that she is?

QueenOfTheAndals · 20/02/2018 13:10

I think what crunchymint is referring to is the story of Prince Charles' valet being caught giving the crown jewels a spit and polish, so to speak...

QueenOfTheAndals · 20/02/2018 13:12

Well maybe not quite a spit and polish but the story is out there en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Smith_(royal_servant)

123MothergotafleA · 20/02/2018 13:17

Fawcett ( The fence) was the secant who was alleged to have been involved with the spit and polish of the Crown Jewels.

123MothergotafleA · 20/02/2018 13:18

Servant.

sashh · 20/02/2018 13:20

Sassh, why wouldn’t he have been able to marry her?

Because one day he will be head of the Church of England, officially you could not marry in the C of E church if you were divorced (in practice some vicars did carry out marriages for divorcees). The 'Church law' changed in 2002, it had changed earlier in Scotland which is why Princess Anne married in Scotland.

Also he has to have the permission of the Queen to marry, and as head of the Church of England that would put her in a bit of a spot.

Before 2013 Prince Harry would have lost his place int he line of succession if he married Meghan Markle.

Graphista · 20/02/2018 13:21

Ugh - and yet on the many royal family threads on here the sycophancy and deference is overwhelming.

Bin the lot of them!

Buck3t · 20/02/2018 13:23

I'm surprised I haven't seen weapons of mass destruction and David Kelly mentioned.

123MothergotafleA · 20/02/2018 13:24

Yes indeed, Maggie Thatcher was glued to Saville like a limpet. Why?

DullAndOld · 20/02/2018 13:26

oh Kelly has been mentioned a few times already on this thread..

Graphista · 20/02/2018 13:27

David Kelly has been mentioned a few times actually.

Thatcher and savile - presumably because many of her pals/cabinet were also perves and she didn't want it known and thus losing power.

123MothergotafleA · 20/02/2018 13:28

Interesting, Graphista!

Pittapatter · 20/02/2018 13:33

I think a lot of people like to think that our leaders whether political or royals etc are benign and have our best interests at heart.
Some people don't believe this. I think that the royals sole aim is the perpetuation of the monarchy rather than any kindliness towards their people. I think that they (or the suits in grey) are ruthless in this. Just my humble thoughts though...

123MothergotafleA · 20/02/2018 13:33

God, there needs to be one helluva spring clean of ALL the big institutions, Politics, Legal system, Entertainment(!!) eg BBC, Hollywood, The Church.

123MothergotafleA · 20/02/2018 13:35

The Church is not supposed to be under my heading " entertainment", but perhaps it's debatable.

beluga425 · 20/02/2018 13:37

I heard that five men broke into the Democratic headquarters and that it was the government that organised it. I reckon it's a conspiracy, even though President Nixon keeps denying it.

I also don't think that Saddam Hussein has any weapons of Mass Destruction even though that nice Mr Blair keeps warning us that he's a very, very dangerous man.

I dont think Saville would have been interested in the West's somehow, he was too busy hobnobbing with politicans and royalty and the ones at the BBC and hospital managers to have anything to do with them. Maybe these days with the dark web and the internet, but back then, it was ' who you knew, not what you know ' ( bit like today, but you had to be more proactive at it and get out and meet actually meet people etc) All that charity work he did was a such a good cover - people like him are just evil.
i really hope he is rotting in hell.

Backenette · 20/02/2018 13:47

That there are more powerful men involved in sexual abuse of kids who have not yet been publicly exposed

I’d say that’s about as close to a certainty as you can get.
