Which theories, dismissed by many as conspiracy theories, do you regard as the truth?

Mermaids were basically purpoises weren't they?

Jesus did exist. I've no doubt of that. I think he was the leader of a very successful cult and things that did happen have been made into stories and embelished eg he didn't turn water into wine; what actually happened was that on noticing the wine hadn't been put on the tables he popped to the celler and bought his home brew out. Someone mentioned that Jesus made the wine and tada!

Pumpkinisland89 · 18/02/2018 21:12

Beckenette, I shall read in the morning. Thank you. I was only half listening to Brian (as I find is the best way).

I think Cameron wanted brexit, I believed this throughout the campaign.

So although he said he wanted to remain in EU - You know better? Of course. Do you have any evidence at all?

Most of the establishment wanted brexit to happen, many pretended they didn't.

The establishment? Can you clarify? We know the CS, the Lords, most scientists, business people and universities wanted to Remain. Where is your evidence, please?

There was so much manipulation.

True enough.

Heading the leave campaign were the most popular leaders (Boris, Farage)

Farage wasn't in the actual leave campaign - and couldn't get voted as an MP. Why do you think he was the most popular leader? Johnson was a late arrival in the Leave campaign having previously suggested he was pro staying in EU.

and the remain campaign led by the least popular leaders (Cameron, May).
Er, May didn't lead the Remain campaign, she wasn't even in the remain campaign! Cameron had just been comfortably elected leader ie. quite popular.

The great British brainwashed public will usually vote for the leaders they like and believe in and not bother to look any further into things than that. The establishment obviously know this.

Not sure what this means.

There is no way Mrs May wanted to remain in the EU - she hates immigration, loves power and control etc.

She said she thought we should remain. Where is your evidence that she wasn't? We know she is anti-immigration but that doesn't mean brexiteer. What does the power and control bit even mean?

I think you are very gullible (or stupid) to believe she was ever a remainer

I think you are someone who spouts opinions on the internet with a complete indifference to any facts/evidence/reasoning or common sense. I don't doubt you are completely at home in this thread.

I feel desperately sorry for the mccanns. I do not believe they had anything to do with it otherwise they wouldn’t still be doing everything they can now; they would want it to quieten down.

The80sweregreat · 18/02/2018 21:16

I believe Jesus did live and had a following. He just gave us a vision of how to be good in a bad world. Not remotely religious at all but i like to think he was around. What the rest of it means i have no idea.

Calledyoulastnightfromglasgow · 18/02/2018 21:17

I don’t believe for one minute that the “establishment” wanted Brexit to happen. That includes Cameron and TM.

BonnieF · 18/02/2018 21:23

cupofcake

The 777 is made almost entirely of aluminium alloys. You may be confusing it with the 787 which is largely made of composite materials. The 777s planned successor, the 777X will be made in a similar way to the 787.

Several small pieces of MH370 have been found washed up in various locations, including a ‘flaperon’ wing component which could only have originated on that aircraft, as no other 777 has crashed into the ocean.

JeNeSuisPasVotreMiel · 18/02/2018 21:25

Prinny Di was obvs bumped off.

Moon landings I'm also suspicious about.

Shameless place mark - still 10 pages to read

beluga425 · 18/02/2018 21:34

bonnie I'm not confusing the two. I am thinking of control parts like flaps, radome that break off and then pretty much all of the internal fixings e.g. 300+ seats, then all of the people's belongings etc.

Just looked it up and tail is composite too!

SanFranBear · 18/02/2018 21:36

BonnieF - I was just about to comment on the flaperon. My understanding was that due to where it was found, previous theories of the planes flight path had to be revised and it looked as though it had acted 'strangely' after being lost from radar (did it go back on itself or something?)...

Regardless, I'm with you - it crashed and was horrific.

I am also always always disgusted and sickened by those who deny Sandy Hook... what the fuck is wrong with those people?

DropItLikeASquat · 18/02/2018 21:36

well fuck me, this is the best thread ever!
I don't generally buy into conspiracies like the illuminate and 911 being fake etc but I do believe that Jill dando knew too much about either the paedofilia in the BBC etc or something about stuff going on in the soviet.
I also believe that the war in Iraq was for motives other than the ones publicly given to us.

Calledyoulastnightfromglasgow · 18/02/2018 21:41

I think Tony Blair is a bad man. I think the whole Iraq war was a total stitch up. It should never have happened. I don’t know how he sleeps at night.

Diana? I’m just not so sure there although i reckon they were happy it happened

The idea of a conspiracy around 9/11 sounds utterly insane to be honest

dragonwarrior · 18/02/2018 21:43

I don't believe these at all but look up Flat Earthers and also Australia isn't real. I fell down an internet rabbit hole for hours and had a good laugh

Namechange101110 · 18/02/2018 21:44

Mexican Bob, Margaret Beaufort had the Princes in the Tower killed to give her boy Henry VII a clear run at the throne. HVII had a very dodgy claim to the throne he had to shore up by marrying Elizabeth of York. If MB did order the killing and blamed it on RIII she not only got rid of 2 people with a much better claim she also blackened RIII's name further strengthening HVII's position.

Iammumwho - I really hope mermaids don't exist. I find it hard enough to go into the sea on account of seaweed never mind human looking fish looking to drown and eat me. However, have you heard of ningen? These are supposed to be whale sized humanoid creatures found swimming in the Antartic Ocean, spotted mostly by Japanese whaling boats.

Cauliflower - that's a great theory Grin

DannyLaRuesBestFrock · 18/02/2018 21:44

I believe that the VIP Paedophile victim has been set up. To avoid the true scale of the scandal and protect the elite

That is the first thing I said to my husband. Definitely a set up.

BonnieF · 18/02/2018 21:46

If anyone really thinks ‘The Establishment’ wanted Brexit, they should read Unleashing Demons by Craig Oliver, Dave’s director of communications.

Dave was forced to put the EU referendum pledge in the Tories’ 2015 election manifesto after UKIP won the 2014 European elections. He didn’t expect to win that election, and expected to negotiate away the pledge in a second coalition deal with the Lib Dems.

When he did win in 2015, he was stuck with a problem. He called the referendum, expecting Remain to win (as did almost everyone else, including Boris & Farage) and we all know what happened next....

Brexit was a cock-up by the establishment, not a conspiracy. They completely underestimated the scale and depth of public anger outside the London bubble about uncontrolled mass immigration.

The80sweregreat · 18/02/2018 21:47

If Australia isnt real then i spent four weeks aged 21 god knows where. I saw kangaroos there too. They looked pretty real bouncing around.
The earth isnt flat. It just cant be flat. End of.

ferriswheel · 18/02/2018 21:47

That Alexa is spying on all of us.

IAmMumWho · 18/02/2018 21:48

@Namechange101110 who's to say the mermaids wanna drown and eat you. I'm thinking mermaids like Ariel 😉
