No need to go further into your reasoning if you don't want to but this has always a been curious issue to me and came up today with one of my colleagues. She is a feminist by how she described her beliefs but doesn't actually adopt the term.

I have always been a feminist 'in theory' as I've always supported any push for equal rights but it's only as I've gotten older (am early 30s) that I have begun spotting a lot of the 'everyday sexism' interactions for what they are and really noted how ingrained and accepted some discrimination is. It's so bizarre to me to think of all the things that I never noticed it before.
