To think this would look tacky in a hallway?

I'm 50/50 on it. I love it, but does it look tacky?

We live in a 20 year old house with a proper staircase, not like the one in the pic.

It's very common (as in I've seen it a lot as the in thing). Abit like grey walls

If you're not sure I'd go for something else but if you love it the go for it!

I don't like it, but if you do then you should have it. Homes should be full of things that make you happy! I have a huge canvas of one of our wedding pictures in the lounge which I'm sure others would hate but it makes me smile.

I like the idea, but feel that image is a bit ubiquitous. Could you take inspiration and find a more original image?

The Banksy image is over-rated, I've seen another one where the girl lifts off with the balloons, it's a bit fresher as it is less used but gives a nod to the original Banksy.

Not a Banksy fan myself. It really wouldn't work with a banister I think.

Last year it was voted as the people's most popular work of art, which triggered this rather sneering piece by the Guardian's art critic - I mention this because I happened on the article yesterday by coincidence, and can't say I was actually aware it was a Banksy before then

But yes, you should decorate your home for you, and not for your visitors. If it gives you joy, then it's the right thing to have.

It's a bit old hat. To me it's the same as a print of Van Gogh's sunflowers.
But it's your house, we can't all like the same stuff.

Having said that I am sitting next to a monkey queen banksy! but it's a real one.
