1 cup of chai
1 toasted tea cake with marg.
1 cup a soup
4 slices of bread
4 M&S chicken pakora
1 pack of walkers fusions (baked crisps)
1 cup of coffee

How does this compare in quantity to what you eat?

Well it would be more than I eat in an hour but less than I'd eat in a weekend

What's the timescale?

Snowman41 · 06/01/2018 17:42

Omg. Context please.

Monoblock67 · 06/01/2018 17:42

I’m not commenting on the under/over aspect, but that’s a terrible days diet in terms of nutrition. Wouldn’t be surprised if you still felt hungry after eating that!

wendz86 · 06/01/2018 17:42

If you mean in a day, that is less than I would eat.

PurpleDaisies · 06/01/2018 17:43

Is that a typical day’s eating?

depthsofdespair · 06/01/2018 17:43

It's what I've had so far today.

My first thought is not how much/little it is but the lack of vitamins! Where's the fruit and veg?

burdog · 06/01/2018 17:43

It depends. Are you 4 foot 9 and 6 stone or five foot eleven and 20 stone?

Daisy03 · 06/01/2018 17:44

If it’s for a day it’s around 1000 calories so undereating, and more importantly completely empty calories, no nutritional content at all

burdog · 06/01/2018 17:44

Either way, get some green stuff down you.

TealStar · 06/01/2018 17:44

Under eating, if a day’s diet. Terrible nutrition though- fat too much processed food and not enough fresh. Could do with replacing some of that with fruit and veg!

PinkHeart5914 · 06/01/2018 17:44

Is that all you’ve had all day? Or did you eat that in an hour? I think the time scale makes a difference tbh.

I’ve had
A banana
Chicken & gerhkin sandwich.
Ready salted crisps
3 wafer things
Will have chilli & broccoli rice for dinner later
That is it for me for the day but I am dieting

TenancyTroublesAgain · 06/01/2018 17:44

Age, height, active/sedentary...??? But either way it's hardly filling.

princesssparkle1 · 06/01/2018 17:45

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE diet

depthsofdespair · 06/01/2018 17:45

five foot eleven and 20 stone?

Closer to this one :-(

OP posts:
Sirzy · 06/01/2018 17:46

Certainly isn’t a nutritious diet!

SparkleFizz · 06/01/2018 17:46

Yes, meaningless without a timescale.

It’s probably less than I’d eat in a day (im unsure how big a M&S pakora is) - definitely less hot drinks than I have a day - but if it’s a day’s worth of food I wouldn’t call it undereating.

PurpleDaisies · 06/01/2018 17:47

What’s your diet normally like? I have days like that if I’m feeling ill or down.

depthsofdespair · 06/01/2018 17:47

they are about the size of a large strawberry

AuntLydia · 06/01/2018 17:48

Are you OK op? If you're trying to lose weight you shouldn't be punishing yourself through starvation. Take care of yourself, you deserve it Flowers

Eolian · 06/01/2018 17:48

Not enough quantity in terms of proper nutritious foods. Absolutely terrible day's food - salt, sugar, stodge, little protein, no veg, no fruit.

Bue · 06/01/2018 17:49

Undereating but more importantly it's a terrible diet unless it's a one-off. No fresh fruit / veg at all.

gamerchick · 06/01/2018 17:50

Sounds like you need to totally overhaul your diet OP. You can't keep that up, it'll make you hungry and miserable. Get some colour on your plate.

ShowOfHands · 06/01/2018 17:51

Do you want to talk about your diet? Are you trying to lose weight? Your initial question won't help as it's a narrow snapshot of one day with no detail or context.

depthsofdespair · 06/01/2018 17:51

Yeah, I'm ok. It's just all I can be bothered to do - I'd not eat at all if I could get away with it. I had the pakora as I thought I was going to faint if I didn't eat.
