• My best friend finally breaking free of alcohol and getting the help she needs.
• My close mate meeting a wonderful woman and getting the family he's always wanted.
• My partner who frankly I still can't believe exists but he does.

My partner asking me to marry him after six years together (which I realise isn't that long in the scheme of things but has felt like a long time as I've wanted to marry him from almost the moment I met him!)

DS settling into secondary school (the first term, last year was a disaster and I thought we were going to need an urgent rethink- and £15000 a year more income to go independent). He’s now comfortable in the school and achieving what he is capable of.
DSDad rediscovering his zest for life. He’s been a bit stuck in a rut and I was worried about him. He took a punt on a holiday with us, loved it and has done a few more trips since.

Getting involved in Woolly Hugs and feeling that my knitted squares, however small and plain compared to others, would be making a difference.

Finding a local, part-time job in a lovely environment with people that i like.
I've worked so many bad jobs with bitchy colleagues so i really appreciate this place.
Such a shame its only temporary.

Getting a new job with lovely supportive colleagues. I also had a surprise house move in a more ideal location and it's my first ever house as I had always lived in flats prior to that.

My beautiful dsis got married this year and I was chief bridesmaid and now have a lovely BIL.
