To ask if you have a stomach overhang thing?

The lower part of my tummy has never recovered after having my daughter (almost 9 yrs ago 😒) even at my slimmest size 10, the overhang was there.

It doesn't usually bother me that much, but I have my works do on friday and have a great dress I want to wear.

You can slightly see the motherfucking, bastard twatting overhang.

Does anyone know of ANY shapewear at all that could disguise the overhang? Don't care if it's uncomfortable 😂

Depends on the dress I think! What's it like? And what's the rest of your figure like? I think different things work for different shapes. I like the M&s shapewear tights, they have different types.

Yep. 2 giant babies have rendered me a bit wobbly. I am otherwise a slim size 10 but I look 3 months pregnant in a lot of clothes.

I have accepted the bulge.

I think most shape wear is terrible and uncomfortable. A pair of high waisted briefs is usually a better option (I think sloggi do some seamless ones)

I totally have that overhang. Spanx are still my favourite shape wear. I like the high waist ones but when I was smaller the normal waist ones worked well too.

I too have an mum apron. I have never managed to hide it, so I can only suggest you drink enough to forget it’s there 🍷

Yes, had a wobbly stretch marked tummy after large ds1 and ds2 and then I had major abdominal surgery when ds2 was 15 months old. It's hideous and I can't fully disguise it.

Although stretch marked and wobbly, my tummy was fine until I had the surgery. The surgery made the shelf which nothing but more surgery would fix.

So how come all these celebs that have had multi parity haven't got one? And if I got down to my height of anorexic weight of 6 stone 2 would it still be there?

Pants-they do good tummy panel ones in M&S.

I like my m&s ones. They shape all my tummy in. Not completely flat but kind of levels it off so gives the appearance of smoother...not wobbly overhang if thay makes sense. Size 10 here.

I got a body shaper from M&S, light support to give smooth lines. Looks like a swimming costume rather than some torture device that you can't get in/out of easily

My figure is alright in other stuff. This dress isn't clingy really, just touches on my 'mum apron' (stealing that one 😝)

Yes, it's a free bar, so I think I will just drink until I don't give a shit pretty

The Spanx that go from the bottom of your bra strap to mid thigh are fab. I have had two decent size babies by EMCS and I have a small frame. Even when I am at my fighting weight, I need my Spanx in anything fitted.

Yep after 2 c-sections. First time round it wasn't too bad, but after number 2 it was a lot worse. I can't wear anything that clings round the tummy in the slightest. I hate it with a passion.

Try www.themagicknickershop.co.uk. If you email them for advice with your size and type of dress, they will recommend, and have good return policy so I have bought a few and tried on. Not affiliated with them, but they give sensible advice and don't just try to flog you their most expensive line. I've recommended them to a few friends and they've been equally impressed. X

I have one too. Just big pants and tights seems to hold it mostly in on a daily basis, but then I don't wear tight dresses any more.

I can't be bothered to worry about it, perhaps if it were the only wobbly bit among lots of toned body, it would be annoying, but it isn't:)

I find it helps a lot, and doesn't cause a muffin top, and not difficult when you go to the loo. I haven't got that exact one, but it was from Marks.

I had no apron until baby no 3 Hmm who was a huge baby Hmm Hmm and the stomach never quite recovered.
