To ask if you have a stomach overhang thing?

The lower part of my tummy has never recovered after having my daughter (almost 9 yrs ago 😒) even at my slimmest size 10, the overhang was there.

It doesn't usually bother me that much, but I have my works do on friday and have a great dress I want to wear.

You can slightly see the motherfucking, bastard twatting overhang.

Does anyone know of ANY shapewear at all that could disguise the overhang? Don't care if it's uncomfortable 😂

If you've found this page in search of shapewear that has been tried and tested by fellow Mumsnet users, you might find our guide to the best shapewear useful. Hope this helps! MNHQ

I’ve never been pregnant but have IBS and my tummy protrudes from below my belly button, making me look perpetually maybe..4 months pregnant? Very rarely it goes flat, but I’ve had to just buy clothing that doesn’t cling to it at all. Grim.

Clitoria my disis has that too and sometimes it swells right up if stressed or if she wears anything tight. She goes from wearing jeans to them not being able to meet at the zip , in one day!

Ugh I couldn't bring myself to wear shape wear. It looks so uncomfortable and hot. I just wear what I wear and have a bit of a tum. I honestly don't think anyone notices or cares except for the person with the tum.

The rest of me is slim and healthy so a wee tum isn't doing any harm.

Mine has got a hell of a lot better for doing the Blood Sugar Diet, designed to slim your middle.

Oh, the old ham sporran.
3 caesareans so got it, hate it, but it ain't going away. High leg spanxs seem to tame it best.

I'm a size 12 and have a huge over hang. I live on the gym but its still there. Even shapewhere doesn't hide it. I have just learnt to except it unfortunately.

I'm sure you will look amazing x

Wore shape wear to my friends wedding as a bridesmaid.
Got so uncomfortable I took then off halfway through the night (high waisted control pants) and abandoned them and got jolly with the free bar (sans pants)
Life is too short
Also love hearing the word “gunt” again

In my local B&M store they had Spanx high waisted shorts in for £6 today!

You're not alone, OP! I have had a baggy tummy ever since DS was born (38 years ago!). Even when my weight was less than 7 stone, the tummy was still there!

I wear a Spanx high-waisted support garment when I feel the need for a confidence boost when wearing close-fitting clothes. It tames my tummy, bottom and thighs nicely!
