Who's got snow today?

And if so,how much? I admit I'm like a big kid with regards to snow,despite being 54 years old and having a disability which limits my mobility. I had no idea snow was expected in the west London area today,so had a big surprise when I wandered into the kitchen at 8am this morning to feed the cat and saw snow on the roofs of the houses opposite. It's not a massive amount admittedly,only an inch or so. On the weather forecast late last night,it said snow was expected in northern parts of England and the south west,no mention of the south east. So I was mightily surprised. I just love the way a layer of snow transforms the usual dull landscape around where I live.

Me! Had it since Thursday. I'm Scotland though.

We have had maybe 1/2 inches here. We made a snow man and threw snowballs. We don't usually get much here. DH has lived here most his life but doesn't remember ever making a snowman.

A bit but it's not really sticking or heavy .

Loads here in Bedfordshire, about 5/6 inches and still snowing.

NW England. It's snowing but not sticking as the ground is wet.

Clutterbugsmum. I'm jealous! Bedfordshire isn't THAT far from where I am,and all we get is a paltry inch! The last time we had 5 or 6 inches must have been in December 2010. But then I think the entire country with,no exceptions,got quite a lot then.

I'm South Wales and we have piles and it's forecast to continue until the early hours of tomorrow morning. So excited, I'm like a big kid! Me and 3 DC have been out in it twice today

Midlands here we have had respectable amounts kids have been out in it and schools are shut tomorrow

None here - thank goodness, hate the stuff.

Derby. It hasn't really stopped all day but as the day went on it's sort of melted in places and turned to slush and the temps will freeze overnight and turn into ice. So sort of settling but sort of melting too.

Loads in Warwickshire and both the local primary and secondary have already said they are closed tomorrow. The child due to do mock GCSE's tomorrow is very happy indeed!

None at all, North Cornwall. So not terribly surprising.

Loads. All schools closed, trains and buses cancelled.

I've been out for a walk as I've got to walk to work tomorrow and it's currently above my ankle, about midway on my calf.

And it's snowed all day without a break.

Tiny bit in both Hartlepool and Sunderland. It's also absolutely freezing.

First time in five years here (East of England).
I love snow and anything related to Christmas.

Sleet and slush in SE London. Not snowman-worthy.

I'm in S Yorks. We've had some but it wasn't heavy and hasn't settled. Was hoping for a snow day tomorrow (work in a school) but no chance.
