Who's got snow today?

And if so,how much? I admit I'm like a big kid with regards to snow,despite being 54 years old and having a disability which limits my mobility. I had no idea snow was expected in the west London area today,so had a big surprise when I wandered into the kitchen at 8am this morning to feed the cat and saw snow on the roofs of the houses opposite. It's not a massive amount admittedly,only an inch or so. On the weather forecast late last night,it said snow was expected in northern parts of England and the south west,no mention of the south east. So I was mightily surprised. I just love the way a layer of snow transforms the usual dull landscape around where I live.

I just hope it doesn't snow anymore tbh. We've had a few inches but all it does it cause chaos. Which is fine if you don't have anywhere to be..

Very little in West Yorkshire thankfully. Not keeping our services open is not an option. I expect the roads to be treacherous tomorrow.

Midlands here, about 6 inches- maybe 7. It’s eased off now and forecast to freeze overnight. My DC have loved it. The youngest is 7 and the last proper snow we had here she was too young to remember —and had a tantrum when she stood in it— 😂

Staffordshire 9cm measured at 10am this morning and it's still snowing now

Well, we had some flakes, but it was so wet it didn't stick. Kids are most annoyed.

Bath, none settled here although it has been snowing lightly for about 4 hours!

No snow here in Florida, but it is pretty chilly today.

Midlands here, schools are shut tomorrow and main roads were gritted. Probably 5/6 inches.

Eight miles from Bath here, two inches of snow but it's melting on the paths/road. Won't be much fun when it freezes. DH is digging his car out near Abergavenny to try and get back. He says 8-10" there.

Bedfordshire about 4 inches and its been snowing all day. Will be nasty to drive on tomorrow. We had cars skidding and wheel spinning along our road, they needed pushing out.
Took child sledging and drove into town. Even the main roads havent been gritted. Not good.

We're in Bucks and we've had about 2 foot. It will def be a snow day tomorrow for 2 of mine as we can't get the car out.

North London, quite a bit.

It's pretty, but I'm going on hols next week and am terrified that it might turn to ice and slush and mean that Gatwick might be closed and/or the Gatwick Express up the Swanee. [paranoid] [needs this holiday]

I'm mid Shropshire and we've had loads. Snow day tomorrow as school is shut for dd. Temperatures are expected to really drop too so Day In to do Christmas things :) xxx

We have a lot

We have a good 6 inches here in the Black Country. I made DH go for a walk and snowball fight! I also made snow angels in a empty car park.

Northamptonshire. Quite deep, I'd say 6 inches. It's magical and we've just put the tree up too. Feeling Christmassy now
