Seems the old WO stepped down after alleged bullying and accusation of transphobia. The new WO is a 19 yr old Transwoman - i think who made many of The allegations against the previous WO.

I know you want to believe that those of us who are questioning the transagenda are right-wing daily mail reading bigots, but I think you'll find that's not the case at all; a lot of us will have principals aligned with many of your own and those of the trans (and LBG) community. It's a crying shame that you've managed to alienate so many women who could have very easily been your allies.

anothernetter who can we vote for? Not the Tories (Maria Miller et al), not the Greens (all of them), not the WEP (who are doing a Politburo purge of anyone with TERF tendencies).

I will continue to vote for my sitting MP (a -mid-leftish Labour man who has listened a fair bit on trans issues when I have contacted him, though he still needs to do better), but I admit I'd struggle to vote for Ed Milliband was my MP, after his stupid podcast, even though I have previously loved Ed.

Excellent article - and much more eloquent that my response to Ruth's article which was essentially 'Aaah! FFS!' after pretty much every sentence!

I can't believe that this (Stonewall) is an organisation that I used to support and donate to but I think most (all?) LGB organisations have gone the same way It does not represent LGB people anymore - and, as Miranda's article shows - not even all the 'T' are happy with the way things are going.

I had a quick look through Lily's family photos on his mum's Facebook. (people: lock your facebook profiles). There's none of the 'I knew my 5 year old was transgender' sort of stuff. It's just a normal boy on holiday with his family.

It seems like he is just a fairly typical teenage boy who wants to make himself the centre of attention in some way. Which he has obviously done fairly spectactularly.

And he hasn't had to do a damn thing to demonstrate that he is a woman, much less deserving of representing women. It's literally just attention seeking. But for some deluded people this is all completely real and transphobia and civil rights and what not.
