To leave wee on my bed?

I’ve got a million things to do this evening and I’m going out in 10 minutes.

My 2 year old toddler has just done a wee on my bed after his bath. His wee isn’t particularly big or smelly, there’s a patch about 5cm.

I’m debating just leaving it there, this is after already changing my bedding twice in as many days after toddler got chocolate and pasta sauce over it, then puked over it.

How disgusting would it be to leave it now until next bed change as frankly I’m done with changing bedding and washing sheets.

Change it or it will get smelly.

Yuck change it! I would also get it straight off to protect the mattress.

I d change it as a priority over anything else. Yuk

The time you took to post here I would have moved like a ninja sorting out that stinky bed.

Maybe stop feeding your toddler and having them nappy free on your bed,,,less effort that way

Get it off quick and give the duvet a wipe/spot wash. Even if you don't wash the cover till tomorrow.

I’m afraid I don’t understand this. You could have whipped the sheets off the bed and cleaned it in the time you’d posted on here.

Get those sheets off the bed ASAP. I'd sleep on a bare mattress over a pissy bed any day.

Is the sheet white? If so, if you really don't want to change it, I would scrub the patch with a cloth soaked in hot bleach solution then leave to dry. I have a twat whippet who has been known to jump on our (downstairs) freshly changed bed with paws muddy from the garden, so I have to bleach wipe marks sometimes, or else I'd be changing the bed linen every day.

Just sick of changing the bed now and it was only a tiny bit not like a huge adult wee.

He was only on there nappy free for a few seconds he’d crawled off as I was getting him sorted after bath.

It will start to smell as it dries, so is best changed. Toddler sitting on dry towel onto of bed in future should help prevent this.

Going against the grain here... my baby is 3 months and often pees through his sleepsuit when I’m feeding him in the night. I have a towel down every time just in case but sometimes it goes through that. Like fuck am I changing the sheets at 4am. And 7am. Because yes he did that twice the other night. And by 7.05 I wouldn’t have any clean sheets to put back on for two days until they were washed and dried. So I just put down a fresh towel and carry on.

(Yes I know I need to buy more sheets. Even so washing and drying them takes up time and space).

If your baby often wet through the sleesuit while being fed surely you would change the nappy before feeding?

I’m wondering how pasta sauce got on your bed? You need to change it. Urine is sterile when it exits but rapidly becomes full of bugs that make it smell. Has it not gone through onto the actual quilt?

You could leave it for now, but you'd need to change it soon. I'd just try and keep the toddler off your bed!

Wow can’t believe how judgy PP are! I am pretty fastidious but in this scenario I would shove a small towel under sheet between sheet and mattress and wash towel /sheet when I could be arsed later.
