To be fed up of Instamums

I followed a few of the more well-known Instamums but got weary of the constant daily barrage of brand endorsements. I can't relate to people on £100k a year in Farrow & Ball houses. I just can't. So I had to unfollow em all, every one. AIBU to feel a bit miffed that these people are using the idea of sisterhood to make money? They're not our friends, they're just there to sell us stuff that we probably don't need anyway.

I think Anna, the Pukka woman, has honourable intentions with the flex appeal thing, but the whole thing with her family adopting the Pukka branding makes me cringe.

Who is the twee bunch? Someone PM me please or out I have more time on my hands than I care to admit

I've been dipping in and out of this thread for days but only just saw who the unmentionable twee one is and actually gasped. Probably the first instablogger I followed and didn't realise they were so irksome 😲
Do roll my eyes at the others mentioned and have unfollowed the one currently grappling with her moral stance/£££££££ 'dilemma' because...yeah, no...sure she won't miss one follower though, good luck to her.

I was literally speaking to DH earlier as was thinking of setting up an account that was the opposite - think photos of a Greggs pasty, a load of Primarni clothes and my Lidl shop - saying that cynically I then said "ooh if it did we'll wonder if they'd sponsor

I still find Ree Drummond rather amusing. She's gone from blogger/homeschooler to her own cooking show and shop!

Looked at the twee one now; she's hardly in the same league as the MoD or Pukka with her number of followers.

The lady that is Hunters and heels has a Youtube page, you have to watch it. The bedtime routine is just perfection, all very smiley and calm and lovely. In actual fact I do not think there is a single snap where she is not smiling, obviously just a very happy lady....Absolutely nothing like I was with 2 dc in 15 months when at 7pm I thought I was on the edge of a breakdown and couldnt wait for the feckers to go to sleep (love them really!).

I have also unfollowed all of the ones you are talking about. Even Cara Suthers who I like but just cannot abide the ads, its all too cringy.

Please tell me at the other side of their pictures their houses are trashed, they're sometimes so tired they have cereal for dinner and they frequently occasionally drop their kids at summer club with no make up and greasy hair..

Can't stand MOD, she pops up in my suggested feed sometimes but never followed her.

I do like Cara Suthers, but I followed her before she started instagramming as a full time job, I hope she stays true to what she used to be as she is quite funny.

I don't understand why people won't just name people if anyone is worried about libel or something it makes no difference in law if you don't name them but describe them enough so they are identifiable
