Seems like the hope that even Alex Jones condemned the nazis is short lived - he's made new statements:

Thomas Reich
Thomas Reich @gollum1419_g
Alex Jones "Nazis in Charlottesville were Jewish actors"

lion it's to be expected but wtf

“I don’t think the president is some sort of closet racist who’s deliberately stirring up the devils of our nature,” Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.), a veteran lawmaker and former member of leadership, told The Hill.

“I think the left is trying to make this political and it shouldn’t be,” said one vulnerable House Republican. “I’m disgusted by the heat from both sides.”

“I believe his message has been clear that racism, bigotry and hatred is not American and must be rejected in its entirety,” added Rep. Tom Reed (R-N.Y.) a Trump ally who said he still backs the president.

To be expected, yes, and also, to be continued ...

cozietoesie · 15/08/2017 16:50

Personally, I don't think the country or the party will abandon him until after KJU has been 'dealt with'. There. I've said it.

Fekko · 15/08/2017 16:52

What's kju?

cozietoesie · 15/08/2017 16:55

NK.

Sorry. Assuming that we're still here.

badbadhusky · 15/08/2017 16:58

I do think that Heather Heyer's last post - If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention - should be our next thread title.

I absolutely agree with this.

cozietoesie · 15/08/2017 17:13

Yes. Smile

OhYouBadBadKitten · 15/08/2017 17:41

Here you are. Lost you without TIO.

Donald J. Trump‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump 1h

For every CEO that drops out of the Manufacturing Council, I have many to take their place. Grandstanders should not have gone on. JOBS!

He sounds hysterical. What I would give to be a fly on the wall!

Is it possible that this Trump/Nazi connection will be his downfall as it is too much for the GOP to condone? I mean hell, if the likes of Jeff Sessions are Hmm about the Nazi marches then what hope does that leave the more rational individuals to continue to support him?

orlantina · 15/08/2017 17:44

I think that if all Trump's speeches from being a candidate to today were played - then people would see how he has promoted division and bigotry..

Unfortunately, people who aren't on the receiving end of bigotry and othering often fail to see it.

cozietoesie · 15/08/2017 17:46

He does sound hysterical.

LukeCagesWife · 15/08/2017 17:46

orlantina i think you just burst my split second of optimism there!

LukeCagesWife · 15/08/2017 17:52

Cozie I'm reading his latest tweets as a baddie near the end of a cartoon.

I would pay good money to have access to him right now as I don't se ehow he isn't walking around screaming and raging. Not that I support him but from his perspective he cannot do anything right at the moment, he simply cannot win and he obviously isn't used to this.

Make a statement - wrong.
Make another statement - wrong.
Reveal Obama knew about Russians for 3 years to deflect from recent fuck ups - oh, I thought you said Russian interference was fake news?

I give him that, God loves a tryer because with the amount of abuse he is getting I would have done a Cameron by now.

catgirl1976 · 15/08/2017 17:56

@roguepotus has gone very quiet. I wonder if they were genuine and got outed as the leaks and fired or if it's just too hot, or if it's fake and they've given up

I completely agree on the next title.

LukeCagesWife · 15/08/2017 17:56

And for the record, I can see him resigning/walking off whatever with a 'its the Dem's fault, they are obstructing progress'.
He is beginning to look tired and worn out, the orange is losing his sparkle if you ask me even his hair looked weirder than normal yesterday.

Or maybe I am just hopeful because the what comes next would be a big issue.

Apols for the triple post.

Roussette · 15/08/2017 18:02

I agree, he can't do a thing right and I don't care about that. Because he does about 36 things wrong every day, he deserves to continually have the MSM, and the public on his back. He doesn't try to acquaint himself with facts, he attacks anyone and anything, he deserves no respect from anyone and I hope it wears him down.

Lweji · 15/08/2017 18:11

It's not so much that he can't do anything right. It's that he doesn't actually do anything right.

Whatever ammends he makes, they are too little and too late. They should come with some sort of an apology for being late.
They shouldn't come with his arrogance and aggressiveness.

He just doesn't come across well. And I don't mean it as in he's good deep inside but comes across badly. I mean that he wears his awful heart on his sleeve.

Lweji · 15/08/2017 18:12

He can't disown white supremacists and keep Bannon in his staff. It doesn't work like that.

lionheart · 15/08/2017 18:19

Not much that surprises here.

Scott Paul has gone also? Grin

cozietoesie · 15/08/2017 18:27

The telephone lines must be red hot at the moment!
