Disgraced myself on a work night out

Can anyone share their tales of similar drunken foolishness to make me feel better???

I can't remember most of details but according to a co worker vomiting and falling asleep in bar were involved 😳

Had waaay too much to drink Sat night. Boys were getting a bit lairy and fighting each other. I piled in and rugby tackled one rather well built chap. He now has four broken ribs. I'm 7 1/2 stone wet through. Oops

Work night out. Next town along. Manager drive a few of us in her MPV. On way home along bypass I did an amazing hamster impression in back seat, line manager spotted me and wound window down.

I proceeded to vomit a good three miles.

When I reached home where I was being dropped, I was hanging out same window trying to, ahem, clean the bosses car Blush

I take instructions very seriously. I found note on his handle saying that he must be returned.

I did so.

The bar staff very happy to see him back and poured me a free drink.
So there I am......still drinking......with Henry still in pajamas.....(no wonder taxi driver giving me odd looks).....and big boss walks in to settle bill. Blush

Amazing thread. And I had nothing to contribute because unfortunately my colleagues were dull as dishwater and now I'm self employed.
Then I read snake bite and I remembered my pub job when I was 21.
1 thing you need to know about me, when shitfaced I get up on my high horse about something and refuse to get down. I lecture and judge. Recent topics have been: apartheid is over in name only, music in TVs programs doesn't get enough recognition and English literature and language should be separate subjects at primary school. You get the picture.

I'm 21, I'm blonde, I'm thin, I'm a barmaid and loving life. Post Christmas night out in anther bar. Boss says to me he sleeps with all the blonde bar maids eventually, yuk and I wasn't interested but I instantly turned into a Victorian aunt. Whist chugging back snake bite I lectured everyone on lewd behaviour and casual sex. May have used the word sin. These were not my actual thoughts. My fuck buddy collegue jokingly pointed out I was no virgin. I was outraged. He described my intimate tattoo and piercings. I denied everything.
Mental enough except when I struggled to the door on the way out I stoped and asked them both if they wanted to come for a threesome. Blush.

Never drink anything pink is the conclusion.

Right, Tuesday was awful I basically sat slumped behind computer refusing to make eye contact and as I was in meetings most of day and left early I got away with, aside from one colleague who left early saying "are you ok XX said you fell asleep in a corner 😱

So today I spoke to the people who were there til the bitter end including the one who poured me into an uber as I struggled to tell her where I ACTUALLY LIVED 😵😫😳

Thankfully she said it was fine and there were loads others behaving outrageously, including one lap dancing everyone, and whist I was worst it was like a switch, one minute I was find the next I was out.

Other guy I spoke to was also really nice, at end of call said so did you have a good night Friday, I was like oh god don't I'm mortified. He assured me it was fine and we had a laugh but I have no desire to repeat this experience. What I would have given to me be a bit gobby!!! Thanks though all - this thread got me through it

Most disastrous work do I was ever at was when I was a student working in a pizza chain restaurant. For the Christmas night out our manager was given a budget, so she asked us how we should spend it and have us the option of spending it all on booze and having a party at her flat instead of going out.....

So that's why about 16 of us descended on her flat one grim December night. She was a bit older than most of us, and a bit snippy as a manager. Unfortunately for her, her nerves had obviously got the better of her and she was face down in a pile of vomit in her own bedroom carpet within the half hour, having propositioned all The waiters, including the gay ones! The staff then proceeded to paint her face, the chefs were running around with her underwear on their heads, having raided her drawers. It was wild. I remember when we all went back to work it was Never. Mentioned.

Poor woman!

Not at a work do as I can't handle my drink and would shame myself so keep to a couple of glasses of wine.

Most mortifying moment was at ex-fiance's family 'do' - Got incredibly drunk and during the night got in bed with his uncle who was sleeping on a pull out downstairs next to the toilet - I remember the utter horror opening my eyes in the morning and turning round and there's an overweight grey haired man lying next to me!

I tiptoed out the room hoping nobody had noticed! Blush

And it's my leaving do next Thursday...... I'm stocking up on alka seltzer & coke. On the plus side at least I'll not see a lot of them again Grin
