To be a little bit in love with Ed Sheeran

Just watching his Glastonbury set - he seems so cool! His music is great, and he just seems very humble.

Mainly in love in an "ah he seems like a really nice boy, I want to pinch his cheeks" kind of way", I'm - ahem - a few years older than him Blush

If he was my son, brother or friend I would be so proud. Well mannered, intelligent, funny, sweet, respected, moral - just all round nice.

needmorespace · 25/06/2017 22:08

yanbu
love him

The80sweregreat · 25/06/2017 22:10

Dont go on the other threads.

bunnylove99 · 25/06/2017 22:12

Cool? Are you sure? Have you heard 'Galway girl' it's a cringefest embarrassment of a song. Also, have you not noticed he looks like a ginger garden gnome?

honeyroar · 25/06/2017 22:12

Yes he seems a lovely chap, but I've only watched three songs and I'm bored. Lovely background music, but not something I'd go and watch if I was there.

Chic on the other hand, wow! Those guys have so still got it.

bonfireheart · 25/06/2017 22:13

"Ginger garden gnome" - wow not superficial at all. Bet you're a real stunner yourself with that lovely personality to match.

Sparklingbrook · 25/06/2017 22:14

YABU. It's all so beige and bland.

YY to Chic, now they were amazing.

Polkadot1974 · 25/06/2017 22:16

I've seen far worse this weekend than Ed. Keep your gingerism to yourself please. If you're judging music on the appearance there's no hope for you

Kimchipancakes · 25/06/2017 22:18

Seems a nice enough person, but I find his music so bland.

Earthgirlsareeasy · 25/06/2017 22:19

'Ginger garden gnome'? Wow! Being defined by your hair colour?! FFS

user1480334601 · 25/06/2017 22:21

Galway girl is one of my favourites Blush

JeReviens · 25/06/2017 22:23

That 'ginger garden gnome' comment was really shitty - no need for that at all. I despise appearance-based insults.

Polkadot1974 · 25/06/2017 22:24

Again I say I've heard lots worse. And lots less tuneful. Each to their own but don't resort to naming hair colour as a reason. It to like him please.
I'm an angry ginger right now

QueenMortificado · 25/06/2017 22:24

ginger garden gnome

Oh fuck right off with that Hmm

GeillisTheWitch · 25/06/2017 22:24

He seems like a nice guy but I really don't get why his music is so over hyped.

justkeepswimmingg · 25/06/2017 22:26

Love me some Ed. YANBU Wink.

Changedtocovermyass · 25/06/2017 22:26

He is the typical objectify women, sing about that and get praise for it type guy. I can't enjoy that.

OohMavis · 25/06/2017 22:27

Well tbf you don't know the guy Grin but he makes some genuinely lovely songs.

VictoriaMcdade · 25/06/2017 22:27

He's got the crowd in the palm of his hand.

I'm not a massive fan, but I can appreciate that he's really talented and pretty entertaining.

Also it must take a huge amount of guts to headline just with a little guitar and some pedals.

nancy75 · 25/06/2017 22:28

He is boring, but brave to go on that stage just him & an effects pedal.
DD thinks he is the best thing on earth, but she's 11 & doesn't know any better!

StillHungryy · 25/06/2017 22:31

I like him saw him at Wembley and really enjoyed it. I like his music just peoples tastes isn't it. I probably find loads of other posters music tastes boring and a bit shit.

AtSea1979 · 25/06/2017 22:34

YANBU love him and his songs

bonfireheart · 25/06/2017 22:35

Ed writes lots and lots of songs for other artists. There's a good chance that people who don't like his music are probably listening to another more "cooler" artist signing one of his songs and liking that without realising.

SaucyJack · 25/06/2017 22:36

That Galway Girl song was the tipping point for me between amiably tolerating him, and genuinely feeling a weeny bit embarrassed for his family.

I just don't understand why he did it :-(

Knittedfrog · 25/06/2017 22:36

I've found my people! Whatever you do don't go on the other thread! I had to run away! Love him and I so would!
