Just watching his Glastonbury set - he seems so cool! His music is great, and he just seems very humble.

Mainly in love in an "ah he seems like a really nice boy, I want to pinch his cheeks" kind of way", I'm - ahem - a few years older than him

If he was my son, brother or friend I would be so proud. Well mannered, intelligent, funny, sweet, respected, moral - just all round nice.

Yes he seems a lovely chap, but I've only watched three songs and I'm bored. Lovely background music, but not something I'd go and watch if I was there.

That 'ginger garden gnome' comment was really shitty - no need for that at all. I despise appearance-based insults.

Again I say I've heard lots worse. And lots less tuneful. Each to their own but don't resort to naming hair colour as a reason. It to like him please.

He is the typical objectify women, sing about that and get praise for it type guy. I can't enjoy that.

Well tbf you don't know the guy but he makes some genuinely lovely songs.

He's got the crowd in the palm of his hand.

I'm not a massive fan, but I can appreciate that he's really talented and pretty entertaining.

Also it must take a huge amount of guts to headline just with a little guitar and some pedals.

He is boring, but brave to go on that stage just him & an effects pedal.

I like him saw him at Wembley and really enjoyed it. I like his music just peoples tastes isn't it. I probably find loads of other posters music tastes boring and a bit shit.

YANBU love him and his songs

Ed writes lots and lots of songs for other artists. There's a good chance that people who don't like his music are probably listening to another more "cooler" artist signing one of his songs and liking that without realising.

That Galway Girl song was the tipping point for me between amiably tolerating him, and genuinely feeling a weeny bit embarrassed for his family.

I just don't understand why he did it :-(
