To be a little bit in love with Ed Sheeran

Just watching his Glastonbury set - he seems so cool! His music is great, and he just seems very humble.

Mainly in love in an "ah he seems like a really nice boy, I want to pinch his cheeks" kind of way", I'm - ahem - a few years older than him Blush

He is amazing. I won't hear a bad word said about him 🙉♥️

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 26/06/2017 00:58

I like some of his music and he seems a genuinely nice guy, but I couldn't even begin to find him attractive! I'm into blond(e)s and brunettes/dark haired men than any redheads. Ginger just doesn't do it for me.

GuiltyPleasure · 26/06/2017 01:15

I love his music. I'm also a red head & generally don't find find ginger men attractive but I find him very charismatic

❤️ Ed

I see the collective crush is starting to wear off. Was bound to happen sooner or later. Poor Ed.

nancy75 · 26/06/2017 07:47

I'm married to a ginger man so no gingerism here but I can't see anything attractive about Ed I'm afraid - from what i have read in the press he is a nice guy so good luck to him. Not the most exciting end to Glasto but then I think foo fighters are crap & people were wetting themselves over them!

ShelaghTurner · 26/06/2017 09:23

My 9yo questions why you'd kiss a girl on the neck (even she knows that's pretty intimate) and only then ask her to dance...

Lol don't think Mumsnet is high on his priority list. He was asked to close the show at Glastonbury, plays sell out tours, had 8 singles in the top 10, is an in demand artist and song writer. But oh no Mumsnet don't find him attractive. Yeah am sure "poor Ed" isn't losing sleep over it!

Go wash your mouth out Grin! Foos are epic!

Love a bit of Ed! 💕💕💕

MrsTerryPratchett · 26/06/2017 17:29

His songs are so dull. And sexist.

I agree. He constantly objectifies women (and were he blessed in the looks department I could see why a tiny bit, but come on...). He thinks it's unfair that a women he wasn't in a relationship with sleeps with someone else. He wrote You should go and love yourself which is just awful and misogynist. There is probably more.

fishonabicycle · 26/06/2017 17:46

It was written as 'f*ck yourself'.

MrsTerryPratchett · 26/06/2017 17:49

It was. And is basically telling an ex that she shouldn't like herself and that she was only with him because of his fame and money.

I find it fascinating that famous men have no issue sleeping with women well above their pay grade, while everyone has to pretend it's their charm and wit Hmm Deluded and sexist.

juliesaway · 21/01/2018 20:44

Boring and ugly

Tinycitrus · 21/01/2018 20:45

“Listening to Tiny Dancer”

Hmm
TallulahBetty · 21/01/2018 20:45

So you've come to a 7 month+ thread to say... that ?

Trashboat · 21/01/2018 20:48

Ed writes lots and lots of songs for other artists. There's a good chance that people who don't like his music are probably listening to another more "cooler" artist signing one of his songs and liking that without realising.

Nope. You can spot one of his shitty songs a mile off. He tries to fit lots of words into a small sentence.

Dirge.

whirlygirly · 21/01/2018 20:50

Yes he does! The lyrics never scan properly. And that "push and pull like a magnet do" nonsense.
