So last night my best mate from America came over to visit (her husband is American so she moved there). We all went out on the town with the girls unfortunately i had a little way too much to drink and on my way home to my flat i stopped to pee in the corner of our car park (it's hidden by some trees) wish i hadn't but i made a bad decision because i'd been drinking and i didn't think i was gonna make it home, however seems some of my neighbours heard (they're not part of the flats or live on the property, they just back onto it) and this afternoon they were complaining loudly so i could hear, so am i being irrational or are they making a big deal? Considering they're youngsters that hold parties that keep our residents up a lot of the time, i think it's hypocritical and it's the first and only time I've done it IMO

p.s. bring on the opinions i don't mind...

That is disgusting behaviour and I'm not sour prised your neighbours are not happy
How did they even know what you were doing?
How noisy is your wee?

MrsHathaway · 18/06/2017 20:51

Do you normally (or ever) complain about their night time loudness? Could they be making a point?

Nightmanagerfan · 18/06/2017 20:51

It's absolutely disgusting and unnecessary- plus the smell is awful to walk past. V disrespectful

How noisily do you wee??

fannydaggerz · 18/06/2017 20:53

I wouldn't worry about it. Most people have done it.

DontTouchTheMoustache · 18/06/2017 20:55

You can't have been that far.from your flat, surely you could have made it? For it to be so.loud you must have been doing more than just wee (like laughing, shouting etc) are you sure you weren't just showing off to.your mates?

HarrietSchulenberg · 18/06/2017 20:55

Wouldn't bother me unless you did ot every single day, or in broad daylight in the middle of the car park, whirling your knickers round your head and whooping.

ILoveDolly · 18/06/2017 20:55

It's not nice but I think it's probably something that's happened to a lot of people. Just skulk around the neighbours for a while, it'll get forgotten

babybell89 · 18/06/2017 20:57

I live in a lovely area and if I spotted my neighbor squatting in the street pissed I would laugh my head off and make sure I take the piss (no pun intended) when I saw her.
Sure it's gross but unless it was a trampy neighbor doing it all the time why would you care?

tigerdriverII · 18/06/2017 20:59

Oh good grief it's no biggie. But you do rather seem to be milking the mate from America vibe so I suspect there was some playing to the audience.

FeckinCrutches · 18/06/2017 21:01

How on earth did they hear you pissing in the street?

user1492728351 · 18/06/2017 21:03

Wow that was quick!
Like i said it's not like I've EVER done it before because i know it's not lady-like, i have no idea how they knew it was me??
However i think it's a bit rich because when they have parties they leave beer cans and fag buts around, my neighbours all hate them because their parties last all weekend, in fact one of my neighbours (an older gentleman) has set up a petition and keeps a record of their parties to complain, I've never personally complained because i don't want any grief, actually i think they're quite arrogant!

@Pengggwn Yes i agree i think worse things happen at sea!

Well there you go. They're making the point that it isn't just them.

user1492728351 · 18/06/2017 21:11

@HarrietSchulenberg
Thanks that just made me laugh out loud! Nope I do NOT do that everyday, and i was most certainly not whirling my knickers around my head, not my style! haha

@DontTouchTheMoustache & @tigerdriverII you may be right there, I might have been playing up a bit to my friend and trying to make her giggle oops, however i deffo won't be doing it again!

@MrsHathaway

No i'm pretty sure they aren't aware that my neighbours doing it, just everyone in my block is, they're not part of the block they just back onto it! Anyways just gonna have to skulk for a few days haha

Their parties create noise and household litter, but your wee created a puddle of human wee in a public area - tbh I think yours is worse on a one-for-one basis.

Floggingmolly · 18/06/2017 21:17

They couldn't have heard you having a wee from inside their flat, surely. I'd imagine you were far less discreet and far more noisy than you fondly imagine Hmm
Glad you don't live near me.

TinselTwins · 18/06/2017 21:19

I don't think that their antisocial behaviour gives you credits/free passes for your antisocial behaviour!

They are NU to be disgusted by you
You are NU to complain about their nose

your complaint about them doesn't negate their complaint about you, they're unrelated.

Jengnr · 18/06/2017 21:19

Meh. No big deal, it's a bit of wee. If you're concerned chuck some water where you did it.

Lochan · 18/06/2017 21:20

They presumably know it's you because they saw you.

If you came back in the wee small hours, they presumably saw you because you and your mates were making a racket.

And yes, it's fairly disgusting.

user1492728351 · 18/06/2017 21:21

@BestZebbie They create constant noise all weekend when they have parties (from Friday- Sunday), smell of weed, cans and litter around the area and like i said i'm in a small block where most of my neighbours are pensioners so they aren't pleased!
Yes i agree however i see men doing it all the time and some of their guests have done so, but it's the one time I've done it in my life so don't think it's quite fair.
Anyways like someone said - i was drunk and worst things happen at sea!

Why is the friend from USA visiting relevant? It's not, so I too think you were trying to be "wild", attention seeking behaviour

tigerdriverII · 18/06/2017 21:23

Lochan

It deffo was the wee small hours!

user1492728351 · 18/06/2017 21:23

@TinselTwins

Actually i do think it's related because they're about 5 mins away from an ASBO and me peeing once on my own property won't get me one from them lol
