So last night my best mate from America came over to visit (her husband is American so she moved there). We all went out on the town with the girls unfortunately i had a little way too much to drink and on my way home to my flat i stopped to pee in the corner of our car park (it's hidden by some trees) wish i hadn't but i made a bad decision because i'd been drinking and i didn't think i was gonna make it home, however seems some of my neighbours heard (they're not part of the flats or live on the property, they just back onto it) and this afternoon they were complaining loudly so i could hear, so am i being irrational or are they making a big deal? Considering they're youngsters that hold parties that keep our residents up a lot of the time, i think it's hypocritical and it's the first and only time I've done it IMO

p.s. bring on the opinions i don't mind...

The country is littered with dog piss and shit - one woman's wee is not a big thing

Disgusting behavior, if you aren't the only one who knows it's a secluded spot chances are it happens regularly. I bet the spot you used, stinks like pee.
What did your friend say.

Private land...No, it's a car park shared between the residents of a block of flats. Not op's own rolling acres surrounding her country mansion

I didn't say anywhere it was rolling acres in a country mansion, if that was aimed at my comment.

If the OP owns a share of the freehold, as a leaseholder, then it is technically her land and, regardless, it is private land (owned by either the landlord - if a landlord and tenant property - or the leaseholder as a collective management company. The car park is not a public car park.

I really can't get worked up over a bit of wee.

I'm not saying you should make a habit of this but haven't we all been desperate at some point? Can anyone honestly say they've never had to find a secluded spot?

Not within a hundred yards of my house, no.
