To think these sofas are ugly?

Update incase anybody is interested, she's having two of them! One silver and one purple not envy! I'll probably be eating my words when they arrive because the rest of her house is quite nice if a little quirky. Is anybody else going to buy one?

I'm really pleased she didn't get the biscuit one. I think the purple and silver ones will look great together.

I quite like them, but wouldn't buy it.
If someone sits on it in the same place for two days in a row it looks like it would mark the pile on the material.

I would buy the tangerine one in a heartbeat. My dp would go for it too. Our living room is very 70s in style and it would look fab in there. We both really like vintage and or quirky styles.

If they were actually a knitted cable pattern then I think they'd be possibly gorgeous. Fake knit? Yuk.

To the OPs friend when you read the thread:

Things which please most people most of the time are things which are average, unremarkable and pretty instantly forgettable. Fine if your concern is to please as many people as possible.

When you chose something a bit bold and different 50% of people will like it 50% will hate it. That's just how it is.

What matters is that the people who are going to look at it everyday like it.

I like them by the way :)

Do go for purple and slate if I was her, the silver is too light in comparison to the purple I think,,,

missed this the first time round...I LOVE LOVE LOVE the purple one! ...it's gorgeous!

I like that she has ordered mismatching ones too....I like a bit of mismatched colours/styles.
