DF had asked me help her choose a colour as she thinks they're "fab" I can't get my head around them!

They are offensive

I love them. They keep popping up on my FB feed. I do worry that they'd wear and look a bit shabby (and not in a good way) rather quickly, though.

AllFurCoatNoKnockers · 28/04/2017 06:16

Love the colours, hate the pattern. They are the sponsors for Gogglebox and I have to flinch or fast forward through the advert because I don't understand why they're pushing them so hard!

Bluntness100 · 28/04/2017 06:18

I think the shape of them is good, it's the cable knit jumper material I don't really like, and I think the biscuit colour isn't very good, and I'm a fan of beige 😂

Bluntness100 · 28/04/2017 06:21

This one is much nicer,,,

I like them but I wouldn't buy them as they look awful to clean. We have postbox red sofas, makes a plain room look decorated.

KazenoTaninoNaushika · 28/04/2017 06:25

@chickpeaburger Df is "dear friend", no?

And on that note, OP, you'd better hope your Df isn't on mumsnet! Otherwise she's going to be pretty hurt... Blush

KazenoTaninoNaushika · 28/04/2017 06:29

Ah sorry OP, just read that you'd send her a link to the thread anyway...I stand corrected!! Good that you can be honest with each other like that I guess Grin

I think they are dreadful and would date very quickly, no, they already look dated.

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 28/04/2017 06:41

What Kelly said - my friend years ago had a large Victorian flat and something similar and it
Looked lovely

notarehearsal · 28/04/2017 06:45

The tangerine one is gorgeous

Just shows how tastes differ, I think the tangerine one is just awful. Like something out an easy jet lounge. Hmm

KoalaDownUnder · 28/04/2017 06:55

Is it weird that I can't tell whether I love or hate them? Confused

BarbaraofSeville · 28/04/2017 06:56

I like the shape and the colour but not the knitted effect.

Mummyoflittledragon · 28/04/2017 07:02

I love the tangerine one too. Impractical for us as we have a dog.

elQuintoConyo · 28/04/2017 07:07

Cool in a teen's den.

Lilmisskittykat · 28/04/2017 07:09

I think they'd look nice in the right setting... I'd put them in my conservatory. But don't think the high arms look comfortable

Foldedtshirt · 28/04/2017 07:28

It'd look fun in an enormous hall or lobby but hideously impractical.
What is it about mass market sofas which is so wrong? I'm no design purist, I don't wander around in a permanent state of offence, but I never see an advert sofa that doesn't make my eyes bleed.

Tastesjustlikecherrycola85 · 28/04/2017 07:39

I like it

tigerdriverII · 28/04/2017 07:46

Could be nice in the right room

Rather faux retro nostalgic

Don't let her get the biscuit one: something as outre as this has to be in a bold colour

DimsieMaitland · 28/04/2017 07:53

I like them. My sofas are purple.

millifiori · 28/04/2017 07:56

The colours are OK but I really don't like the quilted loo roll/nana's acrylic knitwear effect.

SheSaidHeSaid · 28/04/2017 07:59

They aren't my cup of tea but I can appreciate how in certain homes they'd look good.
