DF had asked me help her choose a colour as she thinks they're "fab" I can't get my head around them!

I really like them. Id get one in Azure and one in Tangerine, but I hate the boring brown leather sofa with grey walls look.

I've been pining over these exact sofas for about two weeks now.
I want a blue one and a green one so so much, unfortunately I couldn't even dream of affording them though Sad
So basically I think YABU, but obviously not really as everyone has different tastes.

The purple one is the least offensive OP as the pattern's not so obvious...and it won't show marks as easily!

They look long enough to lie down on with a cushion ramp at the head end, plus soft and squishy. 😍

I'd have one in that orange in a heartbeat, but agree that it would look worn really quickly.

God they look comfortable. Not my kind of thing, but they look perfect for an afternoon nap.

Yes to the PP who said panty liner!

I was wondering why they struck me as refreshing. It's because they're the same colours as Starburst - or, better still, the original Opal Fruits. Grin

They're not my cup of tea personally I like leather sofas, but if she likes them then it's up to her surely

I like them!

The biscuit and slate look the best, I think. I don't like the textured look. My cat would have a field day!

What's a "df"? Dear father I assume but doesn't make sense. Dear fiancee is too passe. Dear futteret?

I like the idea of coloured sofas but really dislike that fabric, the colour speaks for itself, not dodgy fabric required!

I quite like them and it could be worse, what about this one

YANBU I like the colours but the pattern speaks to me more as a rubber pattern or that of a mattress

I think your friend can buy any sofa that she and her DH/DP like and that taking it upon yourself to start a thread about her (in your opinion) bad taste is several steps over the line from "honest".

I love bright coloured furniture (our sofas are that blue only a courdrouy type fabric) but I'm not feeling the patterns.

Looks very comfortable though.

They'd look amazing in the right room. Can just see them in a copy of House & Garden.

I like them. Maybe not in green.
