However, how much support did Hilary lose because democrats just weren't energised enough to make sure that not just they, but everyone they knew voted? How many people didn't bother to vote because they though it was six of one and half a dozen of the other? How many voted for a third party?
Using this doubling down rhetoric is exactly the problem with the Labour party, there is no self reflection as to "why" people voted for trump over clinton, internal polls showed that she was losing the rust belt and yet they thought they could just ignore it.
This underlying theory that if more people voted would have made the Dems win is exactly the same rhetoric that engulfed Labour at the last GE, no self reflection what so ever, the presumption that all the non voters would vote the way you presume is ignorant.
