This is going to sound so bitchy (and it's not meant to) but Michelle Obama looks like she's aged 10 years overnight and was definitely borderline crying during the anthem right there.

Safe to say, her sadness at the way things are and potentially will be like is evident.

Personally I think he might be a bit mixed up with that one.

I can't get over quite a lot of this.

1. Compared to both Obama's inaugarations, the lack of applause, the muted crowd. Reality hitting home?
2. His speech. His defiance and comabtiveness. His promotion of Nationalism to the detriment of anything else. Poisonous. He was not even slightly conciliatory.

One of my friends said on fb - 'I've seen better speeches on the West Wing'. She was so right.

I'm watching Obama's speech now from 2009. It's different
