www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/dec/20/nigel-farage-accuses-jo-cox-widower-brendan-cox-of-supporting-extremism

"Farage said: “Well, of course, he would know more about extremists than me, Mr Cox. He backs organisations like Hope Not Hate, who masquerade as being lovely and peaceful, but actually pursue violent and undemocratic means.”

I really hope that Hope not Hate sue him.

I wish he would just sod off to the USA and make a nuisance of himself there pandering to Trump. The less publicity he gets, the better.

The US wouldn't give him a green card . I thought you had to prove yourself useful or that you did a job no American could do. They already have enough right wing tossers surely?

Farage is exactly like Trump - you think they have hit rock bottom, but oh no, it turns out there's a bit further to go. Both unspeakable. I've been in awe of Brendan Cox's dignity throughout the entire living nightmare he's going through. Farage isn't fit to clean his shoes.

Farage is disgusting. I'm glad he said this, it shows him in his true colours.

Why are the media courting him so much

From the BBC to LBC its because he gets ratings they need to stop pandering to him

We lost so many wonderful people this year and yet this frog faced cunt still walks the Earth.

Life is not fair

Hope not Hate say they'll sue him unless he apologises.

Also, what Betty said.

Hopenothate have demanded a retraction and apology, otherwise they threaten a case.

But...once a 'private' person enters the world of political criticism they must accept they too will be open to criticism, and need to show why it's unjustified. IF BC chooses to comment on NF then he can only expect a reaction.
Esp from the frog-faced twat.

I was disgusted, he even got the charity wrong. I will be expressing my displeasure by donating £10 to the white helmets.www.whitehelmets.org/en

You'd prob need evidence that the WH ARE a terrorist group. Rather like NF is going to have to. I'd be a bit careful about posting that.

I am in a local Hope not Hate group since the referendum and we have absolutely never espoused violence (or much in the way of organisation).

The White Helmets are a Search and Rescue group in Syria.
''In Syria’s most conservative communities, people have refused to let male volunteers rescue women and girls – but the women have intervened to help those who wouldn’t have been helped otherwise. ''

Farage's initial comments about Merkel are spot on. The facts from this particular attack are yet to be fully clarified, but in general, Merkel's legacy will be more terrorist attacks in Europe and a less free German society than would have been the case if she hadn't allowed and even encouraged the illegal immigration free-for-all.

Yes, it was a tragedy that a lunatic murdered Jo Cox. I don't see why that means Farage shouldn't criticise Merkel for the consequences of her political choices, especially as she was forewarned repeatedly about them. I have every sympathy for her widowed husband, but that does not mean his political interventions should be accepted as gospel truth. He is wrong to try to shut down Farage's criticism of Merkel.

I don't know enough about Hope Not Hate to comment on whether Farage's comments about them are legally actionable or not. Their tone does sound typical of the sneering left-wing chatterati mindset though.

I hope Hope not Hate take him for everything he's got. Farage is the most appalling excuse for a man. He pretends to be in it for the good people of the UK, but his actions suggest he is mostly in it for himself.

Sadly not a new low. The best thing about Brexit is him and the other 20 or so UKIP MEPs losing their job.

longfingernails it appears that none of the facts about the perpetrator have been established at all. The police have released the refugee who was originally arrested. So attempts to blame an open door policy for refugees seem... premature.

Long fingernails has it, Brendon cox is entitled to voice his opinion but so is Nigel farage.

Mr cox should nt use his grief to shut down other opinions, the fact his wife was murdered does not mean his opinions are worth more than anyone else's.

To use a murder to gain political advantage is in very poor taste

Hope not Hate are by no means democratic. The receive funding from Unison and Unite as well as government funding. They live tweeted the locations of opposing activists at a recent rally and then pretended to be appalled when violence ensued.

The hard left are as dangerous and frightening as the hard right. The main difference is that the left seem to think they can sue people into silence.

I hope Hope not Hate sue him. It would mean a lot of their questionable actions are brought out for all to see.

This is by no means support for Farage, but nor is it blindly supporting equally ignorant causes either.

I agree that whether this particular attack has been committed by a Merkel immigrant is unclear. That doesn't change my point in the slightest.
