Cunting yodel have lost my parcel!!

I got a text from mothercare today to say that my sons buggy was being delivered today so i made a point of checking to see how many deliveries were to be made ahead of mine and there were 45 so i went to my grans for a bit then went home.
I got in at around 2pm and made us lunch while i waited. Fast forward to 3:02 and i got a text saying my parcel has been delivered... weirdly enough there was no chap at the door or a card left through the letterbox. No vans had been up my street in the time i had been in so i want to know where my sons buggy that has been "delivered" actually is! I checked all round my garden and in the shed and there is no sign of it anywhere.
The online chat says i have to wait at least 2 days for a depot investigation but that is no good when im left with no buggy which is a pita as i dont drive.
Where would i be able to make a complaint about this happening?

Phone Mothercare now and get them to call Yodel and find out where they have left it - don't wait for Yodel - they are shit

Sod what it says about them waiting 2 days to do a depot check - get in touch with Yodel and get them to ring the driver. Obviously he has delivered it to the wrong address and if you're quick he might still be local enough to retrieve it.

On the phone to mothercare just now

Yodel did the same with a double pram from very. Just disappeared from the face of the earth. Was scanned at depot then gone.
Very sent another one out.

Its all the more baffling that it has apparently been signed for. Lady from mothercare is on the case shes going to phone customer services and phone me back. She agrees its odd too

Lately we've had a lot of Yodel deliveries and they've been grand, which admittedly is no use in this case OP. I hope Mothercare can get another out to you tomorrow.

Have they not delivered it to a neighbour?

There has been no calling card left so i have no idea but know that there was definetely no yodel van in ny street this afternoon. The only calling card i recieved today was from amazon for my dogs food

Hmm, they will probably have either delivered to the wrong address (right number, wrong road, wrong number, right road, etc), to a random neighbour, or will have marked it as delivered but not actually delivered as they didn't have time, but want to have met their quota on paper.

They must have delivered to a similar sounding street. Do you live on somewhere like Roseberry Drive and there"s a Roseberry Road around the corner?

Yodel and hermes are both horrendous.
I refuse to use them now.
I haven't had one good delivery from them in a year!
Delicate Items chucked over the fence, ( one item stuck in the tree because of it, left on the drive under a mat, in garbage bin, missing items and then simply shoving a card through my door without ringing the bell as they couldn't be arsed
Shame as i've stopped ordering from so many companies but i refuse to deal with them As their customer care is also crap ( they tell you it's nothing to do with them go back to who you purchased from even though i'm complaining about their poor service )

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, tracking information was saying delivered but no signature had been obtained.

I contacted the company that I had ordered from they contacted Yodel, Yodel interviewed the person who was delivering that day, he said he handed the parcel over to a Eastern European male who was 5"11 at my address

It was laughable as I'm not Eastern European neither is DP or 5"11, it had me thinking how would the driver remember who he handed it over to and know their exact height a week later, I suspected that the driver stole my item. I did a search online and this has been happening ALOT of other people.

Luckily I paid for the item via PayPal I opened up a claim the merchant did not respond so I was refunded in full.

Well the mothercare lady is just off the phone and my buggy hasnt been delivered to me or indeed any neighbours but has been delivered to the depot in livingston i dont get why it is telling me its been delivered to me then

If it has been delivered to the depot, next stop is delivery to your house?? I hope this situation gets sorted out!

Why would it tell me how many deliveries left before mine if it was just going to the depot? Ive waited in for nothing in other words

It will be what metalmidget said - the driver will have had a quota to fill and been running late so listed you as delivered to make up the quota so they get paid.

I had this a few weeks ago - saw the yodel guy blocking my drive - he was searching in his van. Didn't come to the house just got back in van and drove off - then few minutes later a text to saw item had been delivered.

Following day - same guy back with parcel.

Hope yours turns up tomorrow !

I wonder if thats been 'lost' in the same way my new graphics card was 'lost', signed for by a friend of the driver.

Happens all the time with Yodel. Have refused to use them anymore and just don't buy from stores that use them! Seriously shite service!
