Dyslexia, lots of fun.

Think I'd rather teach my child to spell than spend the time worrying about whether she should wear her Heelys.

its quite rude to start another thread to complain about a particular poster IMHO .. you should bring her up on the actual thread or cat her

SparklyGothKat · 13/02/2007 11:30

my spelling is crap too.

has everyone got pmt or something? mn seems to be angry women today

foxinsocks · 13/02/2007 11:33

you can't tell you're dyslexic by your postings so you need to tell people if it worries you

itsmeNDP · 13/02/2007 11:33

twiggers, kimi did actually address it with the poster on the original thread too

kimi · 13/02/2007 11:35

If i could get my spell check to work i would all this new fangled techy stuff.

OP posts:
Molesworth · 13/02/2007 11:35

I think it is rude, yes. Unless there's a specific need to point it out in a professional or educational context.

megandsoph · 13/02/2007 11:35

My spelling and grammer is pants. More important things in life to worry about me thinks.

kimi · 13/02/2007 11:37

Although i must add my 10 year old often points out where i have gone wrong

OP posts:
lurkylou · 13/02/2007 11:38

bad spelling and grammar could be improved if those afflicted took on board the kind comments on here.

There's no hope for bad typers though

kimi · 13/02/2007 11:39

My typings not anything to write home about either

OP posts:
madmarchhare · 13/02/2007 11:41

I would never do it but wouldn't mind particularly if someone else did to me.

Not everyone will know you have dyslexia.

Tirnanog · 13/02/2007 11:41

I wouldn't worry Kimi it's what you have to say not how you say it [you see I have a problem with incoherant posts - my own that is!]

Glad I'm not the only one confused

kimivalentin · 13/02/2007 11:53

I take it it was aimed at me yes!

Tirnanog · 13/02/2007 11:56

your spelling is fine

NadineBaggott · 13/02/2007 11:57

I don't think it's rude actually, people are too sensitive. Unless you are dyslexic having the correct the spelling pointed out to you can only be a good thing surely. We all learn every day.
