Just ordered take away, chicken jalfrezi, rice, nan and chips - got home and i have beef jalfrazi; i don't like beef in a curry! Would i be unreasonable to telephone and let them know?
I order from here regularly and they are lovely. Wwud

Have already eaten it.

MissClarke86 · 27/08/2016 18:22

I'd eat it but I like beef. Ring them.

Jellybean83 · 27/08/2016 18:23

Phone them, they'll probably send the delivery driver over with the correct one.

HelloCanYouHearMe · 27/08/2016 18:24

If you dont like it and wont eat it, ring them. Let them know you'll be back in 20mins to collect what you originally ordered.

If they are as lovely as you say, i imagine they will be mortified and will sort it for you ASAP

ScarletOverkill · 27/08/2016 18:24

Do they deliver?
If yes then ring and get them to bring out the correct dish.
If they don't I would say you are going to have to take it all back and insist on a fresh batch of everything

Tiggeryoubastard · 27/08/2016 18:26

Really don't understand this. Why on earth would you be unreasonable to ring because they gave you the wrong item? Confused

mychildren3 · 27/08/2016 18:28

I collected the curry and i really cannot be bothered going back to change it and they don't deliver. Ive not ate it just had a bit of the sauce, chips and rice...ill give them a ring see what they say

pussinasda · 27/08/2016 18:28

same happened to me they apologised and sent out the right order

MissClarke86 · 27/08/2016 18:29

If you can't be bothered to go back and you've started eating the sides, there's not much point ringing. They might offer you something free next time I guess.

romanvilla · 27/08/2016 18:30

YABU, I really fancy and beef jalfrezi. Plain or fancy nan and have you got mango chutney Envy

legotits · 27/08/2016 18:32

Eat as much as you can, call, tell them it's was lovely but not chicken, they will stick a freebie on next time.

Kris5 · 27/08/2016 18:33

Hopefully they'll be professional and replace whilst apologising.

Not like Papa Johns where they'll be annoyed and say you must have ordered wrong and take an hour for a replacement.

Obliviated · 27/08/2016 18:33

I don't think I've ever known a curry place offer beef. Ours only offer chicken or lamb. I ordered samosas last night. I totally want more now

gingerboy1912 · 27/08/2016 18:33

I'd eat it. But if you really can't stand beef curry then ring them keep the curry and see if they will deliver a chicken one and take the beef one away.

JenLindleyShitMom · 27/08/2016 18:34
Confused

Has this never happened to you before?

HemanOrSheRa · 27/08/2016 18:36

We always check our takeaways when we collect them, after many food disappointments Sad. But if they deliver I would ring them.

And thanks for this OP. I have now decided that I can't be arsed to cook so we will be getting a takeaway Grin

KittensWithWeapons · 27/08/2016 18:39

Well if you won't go back, and they don't deliver, and you've eaten it anyway, it's a bit of a non-issue, isn't it? Confused

KittensWithWeapons · 27/08/2016 18:40

HemanOrSheRa same here Grin. Was dithering over what to have for dinner. Now it's takeaway for sure!

HemanOrSheRa · 27/08/2016 18:45

Grin Kittens. DP will be pleased when he gets home from walking the dog.

Flum · 27/08/2016 18:45

I can see why you need online help for this. This must be a nightmare. How about counselling?

Iguessyourestuckwithme · 27/08/2016 18:46

Well thats my take out ordered

JenLindleyShitMom · 27/08/2016 18:47

Grin flum

BlancheBlue · 27/08/2016 18:50

Would someone really come on here to ask this rather than just ringing and saying my order is wrong and get the correct one sent out? Are you very bored at the moment OP?

JenLindleyShitMom · 27/08/2016 18:51

Apparently so Blanche. Maybe it's OPs first time getting take away.

BlancheBlue · 27/08/2016 18:51

And have you had an epic name change fail at start of this post too?
